I would be completely ok with $5B going towards a hi-tech solution to the border + immigration reform (e.g. giving workers in Mexico seasonal work visas or a surge of visas for necessary labor work). A stupid ass wall does nothing when they're building tunnels, etc to smuggle drugs/weapons/human trafficking. Why can we discuss solutions so easily on this board, but Congress can't? I'm assuming it's connected to lobbyists and stupid party lines.

One thing I noticed differently about Beal this year vs years past is that he's actually developed handles. He doesn't look as awkward dribbling the basketball anymore, and he's had some pretty sweet drives/tough finishes in the paint lately.

I've been watching the Wiz play since the Ike Austin/Tracy Murray days....I fully agree that Grunfeld/Brooks are huge problems, but I'm all for blowing this up. I'd rather have Beal than Wall. No one wants to come here and play with Wall. I remember back when we had a couple of years with some legit stars available in FA and he said he wouldn't campaign to bring anyone here. That was eye opening to me. Yes, he can pass....but what good is that when no one respects his jump shot? They stand 3 feet away from him begging him to shoot. This team went on a crazy run last year with Beal/Sato running the show. How can Sato run the offense and 'everyone eats', but Wall can't get the same production?

His knees though....he's not going to age well at all. He's got a busted shot, what's going to happen 3 years from now when he's not the fastest guy on the court and can barely jump? His athleticism will continue to decline every year. We've wasted his best years and it's sad, but we've gone as far as we can with him as the leader. I watch him on the court and all I can think of is how ****ty it would be to play with him as a teammate. He's always yelling at someone else and then makes a dumb ass decision like trying to split 3 defenders to throw up a wild layup attempt....or think he's Curry, playing heroball only to throw up a brick

I've been ready to move on from Grunfeld, and now I'm ready to move on from Wall and start a legit rebuild. We can still get good value for Wall before he falls off the inevitable cliff.
