  1. 1) Taking Mayfield in 2018 wouldn't have been that crazy because they just lost Kirk and needed a quarterback. 2) They could have, but they didn't. If they did, I doubt Snyder moves on from him after 1 season and brings in Pederson. 3) He did fire 3 coaches in the first 5 years of ownership, one mid season.
  2. She's very adversarial to anyone who mentions Snyder. Seriously, go look at her tweets & replies. It's endless since she was hired.
  3. I don't understand the logic in not starting Howell after the Bears game if they lose on Thursday. The Steelers are starting Pickett during a brutal stretch of their schedule.
  4. The new Chief Communications Officer arguing with fans and calling them trolls on Twitter is so on brand for this franchise. Just embarrassingly terrible at every level.
  5. There are at most 3 wins left on the schedule. Rivera and company are clearly not the answer. He picked the QB. He decided to use ex-Panthers players and personnel, despite the results. Blow it all up and start over. And then three years later, we'll be doing it again anyway.
  6. I honestly would not care if this team up and moved to London. It's just apathy at this point.
  7. Wentz isn't anywhere near in the league of Cousins (who has now had three 4th quarter comebacks in consecutive weeks).
  8. They aren't coming here. Rivera ain't getting fired. The only hope is that they mutually agree to part ways after this season. Then they can hire some young up and comer offensive coordinator, draft a QB, and then have this team stuck in mediocrity in year 3 and wash, rinse, repeat all over again.
  9. Did I watch a different game? They converted one third down. The offense looked inept, outside of two great throws. They refuse to run the ball and have 35+ pass attempts every single game. He's one interception away from matching his total from last season. The dude is garbage when he's not operating a Frank Reich system.
  10. It's interesting that Mills is third on this list. Kyle Allen is his backup. Always thought he looked the best of the QBs under Rivera and thought it was odd that he wasn't even in the conversation for starter when they brought Fitzpatrick in. I still think Mayfield is going to be the first one to be benched.
  11. Rivera referencing their 4 game win streak last season where they ran the ball well doesn't really fit with the "we've massively upgraded at quarterback and now Turner can fully open up the playbook" narrative.
  12. As it stands right now, Kyle Allen absolutely was the best quarterback under Rivera. Granted it was a limited sample in 2020, but even in relief of Heinicke in 2021, I felt he looked better and his throws weren't as erratic.
  13. Matt Stafford's few bad games is not even remotely comparable to a career history of holding the ball too long, taking unnecessary sacks, and refusing to throw the easy throws. And it's much worse when Wentz is operating in a system other than Frank Reich's. We're going to get the 2020 version of Wentz, not 2017.
