  1. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the questions he asked. This fraud wants to talk about "pompous, unprofessional" messes?! Does he know who he works for? The love this guy got was absolutely mind boggling to me. He was Woke Bruce Allen from day 1. Another yes man to Snyder, who knew how to appeal to those on Twitter.
  2. You'd think he would have stats that are more in line with Rex Grossman than what he's put up over the last couple of seasons.
  3. One of the common criticisms I have seen of him is that he thinks of himself as a Rodgers or Mahomes mentally, but he's nowhere near that physically. It's a little alarming at how many times he refused the safe and easy throws last year.
  4. I liked the trade for Wentz, but his struggles in camp have me alarmed. Especially the reports about him missing (badly) wide open receivers. But it is legitimately baffling to me at how people were hyped up for signing Fitzpatrick last season compared to the way Wentz has been treated (both locally and nationally).
  5. This is what legitimately baffles me...Wentz didn't even have a terrible season last year. I know there is a recency bias to how he choked the last game of the season last year, but he had a decent season. I would legit be shocked if he was terrible this year. I'm not saying he's going to be a world beater or win comeback player of the year, but he's certainly going to be leaps and bounds better than what we've had for the last 4 seasons.
  6. Lost some respect for Rivera for making that statement. Congratulations...you are now doing the things you were supposed to do. Always there to throw water on the fire for Snyder.
  7. Maybe if Carson Wentz was accused by more women of sexual assault than his total career wins would the media hate on him simmer down a bit.
  8. I think Sheehan has been generally fair on the issue, but is absolutely stubborn when it comes to the idea that Irsay was the main driving force for getting rid of Wentz after they lost to Jacksonville last year.
  9. At least we were "winning off the field" with Bruce Allen. Am I the only one tired of the "we need the humility to approach each conversation knowing we have to build trust" nonsense from Jason Wright? Dude soured on me in less than a year.
  10. What's getting lost in the 980 news is that: The organization and the company disagreed on the value of the broadcasts and the station believed it was also important to continue to be able to provide honest, objective information, analysis, and commentary about the Commanders. Sounds to me like typical Snyder being petty.
  11. I don't trust the leaks coming out of Philadelphia about Wentz. IMO, they leaked that "bad character" stuff to justify getting rid of him to keep Hurts. They lucked into the playoffs last season. Ditto with the leaks coming out of Indy.
  12. Don't throw the fruit at me, but is it possible that Luck can come out of retirement and play for the Colts again? It's the only thing that I can logically think of as to why they would just trade away Wentz for essentially peanuts. They do not have a first round draft pick in 2022. They have no quarterback on their roster right now to trade and acquire a starting quarterback. The remaining options are Jimmy G (need to trade), Winston, Mariota, Trubisky, Dalton, Bridgewater, and Taylor. None of them make the Colts any better than when they had Wentz, IMO. The more I think about it, it's just really bizarre on their end.
  13. He's missed 5 regular season games over the last 6 seasons because of injury. The last 3 regular season games in 2017, and the first 2 in 2018. The Eagles shut him down in 2018 and benched him in 2020 for Hurts. He's not injury prone.
  14. Guess who has 121 turnovers in 127 starts? 46 in 53? 47 in 47?
  15. Also worth noting that going into this season, the whole covid protocols have completely changed from last season. Vaccination status won't matter going into next year.
  16. Local Indy guy on Sheehan's show just said the same thing.
  17. Sheehan has a local Indy beat guy on his radio show right now, who is saying that the final two games are what made them want to get rid of Wentz. Reading between the tea leaves, it seems like Irsay is impulsive and is largely the one behind this move. Hopefully it blows up in his face. So did Chase Young. A Captain on this team. Repeatedly refused it.
  18. That's usually a good rule of thumb with this fanbase (at least the vocal ones on social media).
