  1. you wont get any argument from me that there have been mistakes. But outside of a couple a lot of them have been fairly small. And if you think every project has been mishandled you really havent been paying attention. like at all. because if you had youd notice that the only time anything the does is reported upon is when its negative. Let me ask you how much have you heard reported about all the new artwork around the stadium this past weekend? how much have you heard reported about the new mesh seating in club being used as a trial run, table top seating on club and lower level? how much have you heard reported about the new ticket prices or new member benefits? how much have you heard reported about the new legends lounge on LL with the radio stations, former players hanging out taking pictures with fans etc, food trucks, and 6.75 beer up until game time? how much have you heard reported about Tanya being at the fan rally taking pictures and just hanging out with fans and stuff? or that she was doing the same this past sunday in the legends lounge? how much have you heard reported about the fact that before the lottery was lifted fans were talking about how much they enjoyed their experience at training camp because of how intimate it was? Nah instead you get reports nitpicking every single small negative thing. Like nicki Jhavala (Sp?) taking pictures of the 2nd day of training camp with 0 context of it being so empty because it was a suite holders only day. Nope must be because it was such a stupid idea to have a lottery system. hell even like my point in my most recent post those mugs were likely stocked and being sold because it was probably done by someone who works a second part time job for a little extra cash and really didnt give it much thought. Totally a Jason Wright problem. Just like when people blame the organization about getting gear that's off centered when the organization has nothing to do with it. And if it seems like I'm taking it personal a bit you're absolutely right because of things that the organization has done for me in the background that have had an extremely positive influence on my life over the last year. But you don't ever hear those things being reported do you? are they perfect no they aren't by any means and ive been upset with some of the mistakes as well. For example I think theyve tried too hard to please everybody whether they want new traditions or they wanna keep old ones and its led to some of those mistakes. But there really is alot more good than bad if you actually pay attention
  2. agree about them selling them to get their money back would be odd. Id guess more likely scenario is whoever was stocking working where they were being sold is probably working a low paying part time second job and didn't really pay that much attention to notice that it was Washington st.
  3. youre right. that's on me. either way should've been a ball he held on to and the original overall point still stands that if not for our own mistake we are likely up 21 or 17-3 going into the break. I saw somewhere this is 7th youngest roster in the league so hopefully the mistakes are something we can clean up going forward.
  4. we did not let up 14-3 initially. I re-watched the game last night because I was at game on Sunday. We were driving up 14-3 they couldn't stop us and we were at midfield about to likely go up 17 or 21-3 going into halftime. Curtis Samuel has an unforced fumble allowing jags to get ball back. I know its easy to say we only won because of jags mistakes but you can also go in the other direction and say if not for our own unforced errors that game isn't ever close.
  5. A couple of points in regards to Wentz that I've thought about the past couple days. 1) Accuracy I've seen some (not necessarily here) that have commented on some of Carson's accuracy issues from Sunday. Its hard for me to call someone some inaccurate when completing 65.9% of their passes. I think part of the problem with Wentz and all the accuracy ?s is that the couple throws or so a game that are inaccurate tend to be extremely off target. Because they are so off target when it does happen it tends to stick out in your mind more. 2) Carson's growth as a Qb. I understand the two ints were god awful. If I have to be honest thats likely something you're just going to get from Carson from time to time. But I think where the real growth from him can happen is not letting those mistakes snowball. I think he's had a tendency to get into his own head and let those affect his play going forward. There's also been the narrative of wilting under pressure. He not only mentally recovered from those mistakes on Sunday he did so while in a pressure situation where he had to come back and be perfect to win the game. In response he delivered two throws very few qbs in the league can make in a comeback win. Now this is obviously one game against the Jags. But to me its promising and if he can continue that we might be in really good shape even if he continues to make some of the boneheaded mistakes. @Califan007 The Constipated I literally made a point about it being new before seeing your comment about it being new lol
  6. This whole coffee mug thing is hilarious to me right now. Unless this coffee directly hurt you as fan then who cares? like seriously I'm going to start asking people to show me where the mug hurt him. Like good god have a laugh and move on 😂 *yes I know you're not the one complaining about the mug just the most recent post about it lol
  7. https://www.commanders.com/team/front-office-roster/commandalorian-aaron speaking of star wars I’m apparently a member of the front office now 🤣🤣🤣
  8. Id rather have St Juste as a pure nickel corner with Forrest playing the Landon role
  9. 1) Get Curl back. 2) Move Forrest to buffalo nickel 3) if that doesnt work then sign landon collins 4) follow the rest of your steps lol
  10. This I think has been the plan all along. They continue to say they want to follow the Buffalo model. well go look at Buffalo since the current regime got there. Granted wentz is not Allen. But year 1 9-7 slid into playoffs as wild card kinda similar to here. Year 2 took step back went 6-10 but stayed course into year 3. 10-6 with a playoff berth with its young core roster. Year 4 traded for diggs and signed Mario Addison and aj Klein to supplement roster and went 13-3 and have continued attacking off-seasons aggressively since
  11. Yup I chose redzone as my parking with my club tickets and that’s a large reason why. I live in Yorktown normal I wouldn’t get home till 10-11 at night was home by 8:25
  12. Philly game is almost sold out so I expect Philly fans the question is going to be if we get the type of crowd we got today. If we do they won’t overwhelm us like normal
  13. What makes it even more impressive was the predicted forecast for today
  14. Home side club was fairly full as well
  15. As I predicted wife way overdid the Jell-O shots please come get a couple lol I will be cooking plenty of food. eggs, sausage, chicken breast, ground venison, hash browns, tortillas, bagels, chips. Buddy is cooking wings. I also have a tin to collect the pop tops from any of our drinks to donate as well
  16. In reference to the crowds conversation was told the Philly game was close to sold out and I instantly cringed
  17. Yeah I hear you overall price of parking is and has been ridiculous for a long time. I do know a buddy of mine secured half off parking doing it on a game by game basis with tickets on the lower level. idk how he managed that though idk if you have social media or not i would ask around on there plenty of people willing to help out. I might have one in redzone for you if you decide to go let me know and ill see what i can do
  18. Upper level with parking isnt terrible. I think with parking its like 950 for the year equates to 95 a game or 86 a month if you do the 11 month payment plan. my biggest issue with pricing like I said yesterday is lower level. price is almost identical for club endzone and ll endzone when factoring in parking but ll doesnt get benefit of food and beverage the question in my mind is the better view being closer to the action worth the difference in cost of food and beverage as someone buying tickets me personally its not
  19. Was told a couple days ago that week 3s crowd is looking bigger than this weeks. Means there's going to likely be large number of philly fans in attendance in week 3 Eh thats nothing new nowadays. Its extremely common in the nba. Hell even our tickets are based on an NBA model. Example face value for my ticket this week is $117. Face value for my ticket vs dallas is $317
  20. Not if you buy the clearance WFT gear 😉 speaking of which nows a good time to check out your discount stores like Burlington, Ross, tj maxx etc. found these in Burlington coat factory in va beach the other night
  21. In response to point 1) if you do decide you want Washington gear I think you’d be fine getting it through the big vendors aka fanatics, nfl shop, dicks etc. that money like so much of the nfls revenue is split 32 ways. Dan does not get a bigger pct of Washington gear than he does of say chargers gear unless it comes directly from the team store. Actually he gets a very small portion of it once it’s divided between all of the parties that get a cut. Not trying to convince you to go out and buy a bunch of stuff just make you feel a little better if you ever decide you do want something lol
  22. My thing about club vs LL is specific to this season only. My section is mostly sold out other than a couple verified resale tickets. Club actually looks to have decent crowd. Seems like more tickets available on LL.
  23. whats interesting about the 3rd down defense is that ranking is based off about 8 games. Those 8 games are THAT bad. 60.27% bad worst 3rd down d in the league for example was the chargers at 49.54%. the other 9 games though? 33.04% the best team in the league was Buffalo at 33.61%. So the question is which of those two defenses is real?
  24. The biggest thing id like to see them do is offer at least one of the perks of club level for lower level. Whether that's parking or the food/beverage. My tickets in 308 were 1800 for the year with parking/food/beverage. Lower level endzone was 1250 before parking. After parking its about 1750. Yes I obviously give up a little something in the view department. But unless you are overly concerned about view (some are) the club level is the way better deal. its why club level tickets have surged but it seems like lower level have lagged behind. I think they could sell a ton more tickets if they offered the food/beverage perk for lower level even if they do still have to pay for parking. Granted I applaud team for some of the things they have done. And I don't disagree with your overarching point of they should be doing more to bring in more STHs even if I have different ideas about doing it lol
  25. I know everyone points to the falcons for their concessions prices. part of the way they get away with that is because they charge PSLs. Their cheapest PSL is $500 in the nosebleeds. Most expensive PSLs go for $47,000. That's before you get into the price of the actual ticket. So yes the low price of concessions looks good on paper but they are making the money up somewhere. I hear what you are saying about the gameday experience though. Granted I've got a little different take on the game day experience than you. The food/beer prices don't really bother me because its about league average. My issue with gameday experience from last season was how bland it was. I went to 3 games last season KC, Seattle, Dallas. The game day experience was extremely bland. My other issue has been lack of advertising for the slashed prices and perks for STHs. Most of what I've seen is that general public have no idea about the slashed prices and perks until they are either face to face with a sales rep or they hear about it from a current STH. There are a couple sales reps or members who take it upon themselves to advertise on social media or whatever but your reach is only going to be but so far doing that. I mean how many on this board for example would even know about the perks for STHs if myself or a couple others didn't post about it?
