I would be a little bummed. Mostly because I've got my whole Commandalorian thing that Ive put a lot of time and effort into and was the one thing that got me on board with the name to begin with. The name change is also what got me into doing the 3d printing. That being said Ill be honest I dont see a name change happening. I dont think Nfl is going to want a franchise going through 4 names in a span of 5 or 6 years. But I do think there would be a likely compromise of new logos, jeresys etc to be introduced -

Two quick things the team cannot tell nike to prioritize the black alternates over the rflctv and salute jerseys as that’s an nfl wide jersey not team specific. Trust me I get that it’s hard to give them benefit of the doubt on some of these things. Lack of advertising for example. Called into grant and Danny Monday and they had no clue there even was a black out game this weekend. Second quick thing totally agree with your second point at the bottom. It’s part of reason I bought season tickets because honestly im done letting Snyder affect my fandom. Ive never met the man and Dude doesn’t pay my bills so I refuse to let him take something I enjoy doing from me. Especially when all you have to do is look at the Covid year and see without a shadow of a doubt that no fans could show up and he would be the exact same billionaire he was before.

Look man I get it I know it’s easy to blame the team for it they do a lot wrong. But to address a couple of your points. You said you could see the team holding out on the black jerseys to get a secondary sales spike. While that sounds plausible and sure there might would be an uptick in sales it really wouldn’t affect the teams bottom dollar unless it was sold strictly in the team store. When merch (especially jerseys) comes from big retailers like fanatics, dicks, nflshop, etc it’s split between the player (nflpa), all 32 teams equally, the retailer, and the manufacturer. The only time the team gets a bigger cut is when it’s sold physically at the team store. What that means is a secondary sale spike would do very little to the teams bottom line. Secondly why would nike wait to release the black jerseys or produce those last? Well they had to produce 3 entirely new jerseys for this team while also producing new salute the service, nike rflctv And atmosphere jerseys for EVERY nfl team. So they’ve had to manufacture up to this point 5 entirely new jerseys for this franchise alone since February so is it really that hard to believe that with all of the supply chain issues etc that it’s just taking some time?

It’s almost like there’s a national supply chain shortage that affects shipping and lead times. I literally work in logistics for a multibillion $ company. It’s an issue every where. Lead times for just about anything is 6-9 months in large quantities. Dell, Cisco, multiple others 6-9 months out. Oh and if the the team had that much control over which jerseys were available why would chase young be the only jersey available instead of the teams highest selling jersey by a wide margin in Terry?

Dude that’s a Nike issue not a team issue unless you think the team is making and shipping the jerseys. It’s like blaming my pharmacist for my medication being on back order for 3 months lol And btw if you want one the chase young’s are available for shipping right now a bunch of people cancelled their original orders because the chase young ones are available to ship a ton of people are getting them today.

Yeah I hear you man it’s actually way more expensive when you’re buying a one game pass vs an entire season. If you’re a season ticket holder on upper or lower it’s $50 per on club level it’s included. I’m not defending them on it but I’d imagine it’s done that way to keep people from just showing up getting drunk in the parking lots and leaving. I don’t know that but it would make sense

Didn’t wanna create a whole new topic. But I really wanna see our fans at the game Sunday. I understand some who don’t wanna put money in Dans pockets. Cool I get that buy on the secondary market. Tickets are already paid for so owner gets that money whether you show up or not. Worried about food prices? Cool show up to redzone lot I’ll give you some food and a couple Jell-O shots. Don’t wanna pay for parking I hear you metro and Uber etc got you covered. We are on a 3 game win streak with the chance for a cool atmosphere with it being black out week. It hasn’t been pretty for sure but the dudes on the field deserve our support not to mention imagine how loud of a sell the team chant we could have if we actually had our fans there 😉

Are you really that scared of minny right now? They’ve beaten one team with a winning record. A tua less dolphins. They looked just like we did against the eagles if not worse who is the only other team they’ve played with a winning record. Their wins have come against opponents with a combined record of 18-29 with one of those wins against again a dolphins team without their starting qb. Kirk is doing what Kirk has made a fortune off of winning against teams with losing records. now are they likely a better team than us right now yeah sure not arguing that but they aren’t this juggernaut some are making them out to be

@Skinsinparadisefor some reason this just now struck me for what it really was. Back during the open practice at fedex one of the sales girls got us into an event with Jason and London for potential season ticket holders. Jason made a comment that fans going to games and buying season tickets etc allows him to invest more money into stadium upgrades like the new field and allows the team to resign guys like Terry to big gtd contracts. That to me screams your business side and football side are being hamstrung due to $
