Will say TH is fun to watch for me because he plays the game like a kid who just loves the game. So for the the foreseeable future until wentz or Howell takes over it’s TAYLOR GANG lol

    Also found it interesting that they said league execs believe wright isn’t being given true autonomy to turn things around. Was told by somebody last year about him being unhappy because he wasn’t being given the power he was promised to change things

    if it were me im keeping both turner and rodgers active on game day while keeping either brown or sims inactive. with the way we deploy jd, gibson and logan out wide so much you dont need milne, sims and brown all up on game days

    https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/lions-and-commanders-have-most-explosive-nfl-offenses-through-week-2/ Commanders and Lions tied at 11 a piece for the season. explosive plays defined as plays of 20 yards or more. we gave up 5 such plays on sunday to detroit. if my math is correct means philly gave up 6 such plays to detroit.

    On Sunday Logan thomas tried to take the blame for the interception. Carson came back out and said absolutely not that int was on me I gotta get the ball down. I mean I dont know he can take anymore responsibility than that. The Commanders picked up 26 yards on two plays, moving the ball to the Detroit 47.     I don’t think o line is as bad as it’s being made out to be. The first half on Sunday wasn’t on Wentz and it wasn’t on the oline. Go back and watch the Philly-Lions game. The lions blitzed almost every single down. The only thing that really saved Philly was Hurts running ability. Scott should’ve done what he did early in week 1 and gone with a lot of quick game stuff to 1) get Carson in a rhythm 2) get the ball out of Carson’s hand and into the hands of our playmakers 3) help neutralize and take advantage of all the extra rushers. Nope instead the lions came out and did exactly what they did against Philly and we decided hey let’s run slow developing plays with 5 step drops or a slow developing screen pass with a fake reverse while the lions bring 5,6,7 guys every down while leaving our olineman on an island. As good as Scott was in week 1 he was equally as awful in the first half this week. I’d argue that’s the worst half of offense he’s called since he’s been here.

    I wanna add something to the second interception. Go back and watch the play. Leno pass blocks on the play instead of playing it like a lineman would play a normal screen pass and actually basically blocks Walker right into the path of the play. The interception looks really egregious in real time and at full speed but when you actually look at it very little of it is actually on Carson.

    Love the sentiment but I think we need to beat the lions and Philly to start getting some respect. We got this though 😁

    Yeah ragnow definitely helps. We should get pressure regardless though Philly was top in the league in pass rush win rate. We were second. Philly couldn’t finish though only had one sack

    Not that it really matters much but Smoot was in the Twitter spaces with the fans for awhile this morning. Said coaches are likely using the underdog narrative as motivation. Also said from what he’s seen/heard they’ve been pretty quiet this week and seem to be hyper focused. In grand scheme of things doesn’t mean much come Sunday but at least doesn’t sound like they are taking the lions lightly

    I’ll have to pay closer attention to see if he traveled Sunday or not but he was matched up against smith most of the game Sunday I can’t imagine Philly left smith on one side the whole time

    Watching the eagles lions game now. Detroit blitz a ton to the point I’ve convinced Aaron Glenn watched remember the titans for inspiration. Okudah stayed almost exclusively on smith. If they do the same with Terry there will be plenty of opportunities for Curtis, Dotson, Gibson and mckissic. Philly got a lot pressure but didn’t get home and missed a ton of tackles. Hurts to me was not good. You’ve got to make him be a passer. His first read wasn’t there he was taking off
