  1. Yeah man....my ankle is still messed from undergrad. I mean my whole body is, but that's besides the point. I wouldn't rule out round one of playoffs, but even then. Doubt they make it that far (winning a playoff game), so you'd think he's done for the year at this point.
  2. There were a couple of moments of an extra gear, but looks like a 4.7 guy to me.
  3. Yeah, I remember this update. Hard for me to trust the update tbh. Teams do their own tests, especially on top prospects at the draft, and he still fell. He was likely flagged by other teams doctor's too. Again, water under the bridge, but I generally feel teams over-weigh some of the medical stuff. Look at the next 5-7 years. But then I remember Malcolm Kelly...
  4. Yeah, this is where I am. That heart issue may not affect him during the 5+ years he is on the team. Presuming that is the case, he was a fringe top 10 talent that draft and certainly looking better and better.
  5. 47:50, replay 49:10 You are all very welcome, I spent 25 minutes looking for this.
  6. Kyle Smith was so confident about this pick. Well done.
  7. Never thought he would improve his hands so quick. Took all the 'body-catcher' critique to heart and dealt with it before the NFL.
  8. Allen should be the odd man out. Ideally get something in a trade, but outside of a great last quarter of this season, it'll be hard to trade that contract. Keep Ioannidis, Payne and Settle.
  9. 79.9 You can see individual rankings without a subscription.
  10. Man, look at the tale of the tape. He's been brutal all year. Near countless examples of blown assignments, poor angles and missed tackles. Amateur talk is defending a player that plays poorly.
  11. It's a great example. When it's a pattern, it's a problem. And there is a pattern.
  12. I think you're spot on. I do see him as Kamara-lite from a receiving standpoint in a year or two.
  13. Don't have a lot of confidence in Reaves...
  14. Daniel Jones burns you for the longest run of his career because you didn't set the edge. On the Slayton TD...just run through that guy, just immediately opted to take it and go for a deflection. Long play off boot to Engram. Who was in coverage? Collins. Yes, I'm singling him out more than anyone else...but so are opposing teams.
  15. He's paid to be elite, not only on this team but among his peers in the league. It matters. If you have a bad player on your team but it's house league and everyone pays to play, that's one thing. When you are the best paid defender, you should be the best. It is reasonable to expect results consistent with the compensation.
  16. And their salaries add up to his.
  17. Cam Newton took a year in New England, and Rivera will add to the offense next draft/FA with Newton coming on. Alex Smith will be released at the end of the season. Plenty of cap space.
  18. If you're going to break down a play...
  19. Everett was in on that play. C'mon man. He dropped down and probably would have been beaten on that post, but that was his route to take and Collins needed to stay with the outside receiver. Only two receivers were running deep, and the offensive weapons are lined up to start on Collins side. He needs to show a better understanding of cover 2.
  20. Whitworth is special. Really blossomed in his thirties. Also thought Jason Peters was done many years ago, particularly after the achilles tear.
  21. I really don't think it's a debate. KPL has been the only good player in those units. Collins is playing like a scrub.
  22. But is this even true? Has he been better than KPL? Heavens no.
  23. Why can't he understand his responsibilities in a cover-2? An All-Pro safety should understand the basics.
  24. Have we seen enough at this point to classify the signing of Collins as a huge mistake? The money was always too much for a box safety, and now he's targeted by the offense as a weak link. Not quite in the realm of Adam Archuleta, but he's supposed to count 17 million next season, and they would save $4 million of that cutting him. Shocked that we're picking on Apke when the highest paid defender is one of the worst players on the team.
