Marquez looked impressive but I think it's time to talk about the elephant in the room. I've watched Marquez for over 10 years and the changing body type, fighting style and acne all over his body tell me he definitely is on something. Dude is absolutely shredded more now than he ever was in his prime years. With that being said I hope i am wrong and he and Pacquiao are clean and they can fight in the Fall.

What a great fight, solid card. Well worth the money. I could get behind a Mayweather-Maidana II, Khan-Broner card. I know September might be in flux for Khan because of Ramadan but what a night. Very similar to the Mayweather-DLH fight

Maidana is getting a $1.5 million purse plus all of the PPV cut from Agentina (probably will be over $1,000,000). He also gets a cut of US PPV revenue if that PPV sells a certain amount (probably over a mil I would guess)

I really hope TR and Golden Boy do business together. So many great fights can be made, even outside of Manny-Pac. The elephant in the room is that if Schaffer/Oscar split what comes of that. Oscar has battled (and continues to battle) a lot of demons and that complicates a lot of things. Right now it's all lip-service, Arum-DeBeouf-DeLaHoya-Schaffer have to be on the same page and willing to work. Remember the "Cold War" essentially started because Pacquiao was signed to both companies at the same time. Whatever comes of it, it will definitely be an interesting Summer. Glovegate is over. Maidana is wearing his preference, Everlast. Mayweather will stay with Grant

So you're paying to watch Pacquiao "virtually win every round of his fights" (unless he's fighting JMM) and not knock anyone out? Sounds like that is the same thing you criticize Mayweather for.

I'll be watching, I support companies putting together "Supercards" (Khan, Broner & Mayweather-Maidana) and will show my support with my wallet. Mayweather always puts on a show and is a beast and I think he can get a late stoppage if he wants. Also, Pac is one half of the absolute WORST 12 round PPV fight I have ever had the displeasure of watching (not that it was his fault but still).

Mayweather is cut and weighed in at 146, Maidana came in at 146.5. I think Collazo stops Khan in the mid-rounds.

Arum is going to be in trouble soon, JccJr says he has sent people to Mexico to harass him into signing an extension to fight GGG. This violates the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act, a federal law. Arum has done this before with Bradley, Marquez and Pacquiao. If JccJr takes him to court, it could be the death blow to Top Rank.

The Pac/Mayweather fight drama is actually hilarious when you think of all of the twists and turns. People forget about the Teddy Atlas email scandal, Arum's demands to build a stadium/Pac taking 6 months to heal a cut, Mayweather saying Pac had to sign with his promotion company, etc. The absurdity of it all is amazing and it will never go away until they fight (which I think has a higher likelihood of happening now then last year, still under 30% tho). Cotto-Martinez's coheadliner is Jorge Melendez vs Yuri Foreman...yuck

Early returns on Bradley-Pac II not good, $1.1 mil less of a gate than their last fight. Pac's lowest gate since before the DLH fight. Boxingscene had the early buys at slightly below 700K

HBO is a sinking ship, time to clear out the top of their sports division. They let Stevenson/Haymon play them and go to Showtime. Khan/Collazo will be a good fight i think, Khan better come prepared. Broner should smoke Molina. Mayweather will never be in the position to "need" Pac and will most likely never do business with Bob Arum, this has been clear for the last 5 years. Scheffer/Haymon/Mayweather and DLH have made CBS/Showtime the premier boxing network. HBO's schedule so far this year has been atrocious (especially non-PPVs)

Call his bluff by agreeing to a fight where he'll get nothing? This "offer" is not in good faith, it's to get Pacquiao's name in the news, nothing more nothing less. If Mayweather had made this asinine "offer" you would be all over this thread calling him out, rightfully so, but because it's Pacquiao it's on Mayweather to "call his bluff"...

Pacquiao is desperate and trolling, the guy who turned down $40 mill because it wasn't "fair" now wants to turn the most lucrative fight in boxing history into a fight where no one gets money? This is the same thing as the the whole "Pac is cut and it won't heal in time/we need to build a new stadium that won't be ready in time" nonsense they were throwing out a couple of years ago.

I doubt it really did 1 mil, hence the asterisk. Just like I found it fishy that the preliminary numbers for Bradley-Pac were 680-700 and it ended up doing 900+. All promotors lie about the numbers for sure but my personal opinion is that Bob Arum is the biggest crook/fraud running. I hope Manny doesn't end up in jail or broke because of him. Pac did 250K buys against David Diaz, and 340K against Barrera, the 2nd time. Hopefully the Cold War between Golden Boy/Al Haymon/Showtime and Bob Arum/Top Rank and HBO comes to an end soon. Lots of great fights are being missed out on because of this nonsense.
