  1. I hate the way male dominated institutions treat women. Full of arm-chair quarterbacking, victim-blaming assholes. **** them.
  2. I loved reading this from Jim Tomsula about Montez Sweat. If there is any group I'd want him to be working with and accepted by when it comes to work ethic, it's our d-line. Plus it says a lot about how he's meshing with the team, when you compare this with Zach Brown ****ing about how our team is "cliquish" or whatever and supposedly each group sticks to itself.
  3. That's one of many reasons why I don't waste my time arguing on the internet. At least in real life I can set people down and go through the sources with them right next to me. It's much harder to slime away and deflect in that position and it affords the opportunity to force them to state their position and reasoning. But, even that is ****ing exhausting and not worth the time, because their belief isn't based on what makes the most sense. These beliefs are part of their group identity so even if you get them to understand and admit you have valid points, they'll end up spouting the same **** all over again after they go home and hang out with their people and get inundated with the bull**** all over again. Most bad or low quality information voters are also low information voters in my opinion, although not all low information voters are bad/low quality information voters. Why? Because I am not counting misinformation as information, it doesn't qualify. TWA is a good example of this.
  4. If you don't know **** about responsibility, you don't know **** about freedom.
  5. There is a part of me that is like let's just get this civil war started. I'm tired of these terrible pieces of **** who live in this country. The people who gleefully enjoy the pain of others and think someone like Trump is actually strong or capable in anyway. I know that's mostly my frustration talking and I would love to avoid all that if possible, but if you still support Trump and the Stephen Millers of the world after all this time, I ****ing hate you and I don't trust you. I hope one day you can find redemption, but if you can't change, the only other two options left for you are confinement/exile or destruction.
  6. Yup, the thing I'm most excited about with Sweat is how he effects our 3rd Down efficiency. Everything else is gravy at this point. If he helps us go from 29th to top 15 in 3rd Downs this year, I'm incredibly happy about this pick.
  7. Loved that 3 man block terry pulled off against penn state. Thanks for posting that man.
  8. It's like they haven't even gotten past the 1st level of a video game because they think they need some "special key" and they spend years grinding and grinding to get the key to beat that 1st level only to find out that once your past that 1st level, that key doesn't mean **** anymore and was never vitally necessary in the first place. The stimulation a person feels based on how you look ain't **** compared to the accumulation of feels that come from the experience and history of being around you. But, we have to get past the initial **** first to truly understand this and experience it playing out. These dudes never get past the first level, so they never acquire the reference experiences to mature and understand how life really works. And because they are weak and incapable at life, they are also weak and incapable at self-responsibility and properly assessing areas to improve and actions to take to make that improvement happen.
  9. One thing that makes me a little more optimistic about this hope is how well he showed out at the senior bowl. He's got smaller production numbers than we would like, but at least some of that is explainable when you look at going from JT Barret to Dwayne Haskins as your QB and then also the crowded reciever room he was a part of. But, when his number was called his catch percentage and QB rating while targeted are all near top of his class. He's first in marginal efficiency, 7th in marginal explosiveness, and 1st with 14.3 yards per target. https://www.sbnation.com/2019/3/5/18247493/terry-mclaurin-scouting-report
  10. I remember reading something about him working with a guy for months now, to address this issue. Hopefully, he comes into his rookie season surprising people.
  11. Hopefully with all that late bloomer talk pre-draft he still has more room to grow. He was a walk-on who grinded his way up from special teams to a starting role and eventually led his team in tackles. Here's hoping he can follow a similar, albeit probably accelerated trajectory for us. Hopefully our staff can get him some sand in has pants so he can play with more explosion, but that'll take more time than we have right now.
  12. I feel you. I wanted to give him a chance to step up, but he's shown how he operates. I'm bowing out and making use of the ignore function.
  13. Wow. Claim? I quoted you. Lowering yourself to my level? Are you really trying to pull a victim card now. Do you think I'm attacking you by telling you to apologize and show you have some decency and integrity. When a person asks are you xyz, that does not equate to calling you xyz. How hard is it to apologize? You disgust me.
  14. What are you doing? Are you really going the whole ignore and hope it goes away route? You know damn well what you and me were "discussing". Are you really that weak, that you can't apologize for saying some terrible ****?
  15. I know a girl in Georgia right now, who is pregnant with a dude who purposefully got her pregnant so she would stay with him. Guys are nasty, this one pulled the condom off in the middle of the act, without her consent. There is definitely examples in real life where people have mutual consent for sex, but not consent for attempted impregnation. In my view, consent is a second to second thing that can be given or taken away at any time and must be respected by all parties involved. There is no grandfather clause for consent in my view.
  16. I've lost a lot of that faith myself, for guys and most people in general. Most guys say they are allies for women, but a lot of it is lip service and they won't stand up or speak out in the moment when it's really needed from my experience. Or they won't do the hard and long work of helping women heal. Some don't even have the barest bit of courage to open themselves up to the pain of a woman's trauma, just enough to give them the smallest bit of empathy and understanding/recognition. If a guy hasn't walked that walk with an abuse survivor, I'm not relying on them. They've disappointed me too much in the past.
  17. Why are you deflecting? Why can't you take responsibility for saying something that is ****ing stupid and apologize for it so we know you're better than that? Are you not better than that? I hate weak men, because they are the ones most likely to be rapists and child molestors. Don't be weak, step up and just ****ing say I understand that rape is not a joke and there is nothing that is in the least bit fun about bringing violence, damage, and trauma to a person for your own pleasure.
  18. Yea, is that all you got? Do you understand how weak that joke was? Do you understand how people who may have wives or daughter or sisters who have been raped would react when they hear **** like that? My wife was raped at 19 and had an abortion, this is real life and people don't think that **** is funny. It says something about a person, when they make a joke like that. It says something about the relationship they have with women in general and what kind of heart they have. You need to really take a second and put yourself in someones shoes who has been raped and then ask yourself was that **** funny? Jesus Christ, what in the **** is wrong with people?
  19. What the **** is this ****? And it's pretty telling that TWA laughed at it.
