  1. Oh yea, it's already affecting the culture. Thankfully there are still some OG's in the game who do it right (for now), like the Jungle Boys out in So.Cal and then Berner, Sherbinski, the rest of the Cookies Fam, and 3rd Generation Fam out in Nor. Cal. But yea, the billionaires are already out there trying to commodify and automate everything. **** sucks, because they'll eventually squeeze out the true artists who spend years hunting pheno's and dealing with the most finicky plants in order to unlock those special flavors. And the laws are already set up in a way where small growers are getting priced out of the permitting process and the chance to introduce their flower to retail shops. Hopefully, the connoisseur market will be strong enough to keep the creative game alive. That and the simple fact, that in order to grow true Triple AAA weed, you need to love the plant and listen to each ones individual wants and needs. These corporations aren't going to want to put in that time and energy, their going to find the strains with the shortest flowering times and the highest yields and then stick those buds in auto-trimmers, which is going to downgrade their product and limit their seed banks. Hopefully, that keeps space open for those who do it right and respect the culture and history, so the only thing left isn't walmart weed.
  2. Thought this was pretty cool. Talks about the removal of negative stigmatism and making sure social equity is preserved as this new industry gets off it's feet. It's crazy in a way. People, including me have been locked up and had rights stripped away because of this country's stance on weed and now those very people who marginalized and locked us up for it are now the ones turning massive profits on it and shutting others out of the opportunity.
  3. I believe this woman saved this man's life. It's amazing and courageous what she did, using the trauma of her past to possibly save this man in the present.
  4. One cool thing, is we actually are taking a page from the Colts and running more pick plays in the red zone this off-season.
  5. JP and the others on their podcast did a segment where they list the percent chance a player is on the field day 1 of Redskins training camp and Guice was at 80-90% for them and Geron Christian was around like 70-80% (for those wondering). I think Guice will be ready, but on a strict snap count up to and into the beginning of the season. If we keep 4 running backs it'll most likely be AP, Guice, Thompson, and Perine with the final spot over Byron Marshall. Love will be on PUP, but might be available mid-season if something happens to Thompson, god forbid.
  6. I hate the way male dominated institutions treat women. Full of arm-chair quarterbacking, victim-blaming assholes. **** them.
  7. I loved reading this from Jim Tomsula about Montez Sweat. If there is any group I'd want him to be working with and accepted by when it comes to work ethic, it's our d-line. Plus it says a lot about how he's meshing with the team, when you compare this with Zach Brown ****ing about how our team is "cliquish" or whatever and supposedly each group sticks to itself.
  8. That's one of many reasons why I don't waste my time arguing on the internet. At least in real life I can set people down and go through the sources with them right next to me. It's much harder to slime away and deflect in that position and it affords the opportunity to force them to state their position and reasoning. But, even that is ****ing exhausting and not worth the time, because their belief isn't based on what makes the most sense. These beliefs are part of their group identity so even if you get them to understand and admit you have valid points, they'll end up spouting the same **** all over again after they go home and hang out with their people and get inundated with the bull**** all over again. Most bad or low quality information voters are also low information voters in my opinion, although not all low information voters are bad/low quality information voters. Why? Because I am not counting misinformation as information, it doesn't qualify. TWA is a good example of this.
  9. If you don't know **** about responsibility, you don't know **** about freedom.
  10. There is a part of me that is like let's just get this civil war started. I'm tired of these terrible pieces of **** who live in this country. The people who gleefully enjoy the pain of others and think someone like Trump is actually strong or capable in anyway. I know that's mostly my frustration talking and I would love to avoid all that if possible, but if you still support Trump and the Stephen Millers of the world after all this time, I ****ing hate you and I don't trust you. I hope one day you can find redemption, but if you can't change, the only other two options left for you are confinement/exile or destruction.
  11. Yup, the thing I'm most excited about with Sweat is how he effects our 3rd Down efficiency. Everything else is gravy at this point. If he helps us go from 29th to top 15 in 3rd Downs this year, I'm incredibly happy about this pick.
  12. Loved that 3 man block terry pulled off against penn state. Thanks for posting that man.
  13. It's like they haven't even gotten past the 1st level of a video game because they think they need some "special key" and they spend years grinding and grinding to get the key to beat that 1st level only to find out that once your past that 1st level, that key doesn't mean **** anymore and was never vitally necessary in the first place. The stimulation a person feels based on how you look ain't **** compared to the accumulation of feels that come from the experience and history of being around you. But, we have to get past the initial **** first to truly understand this and experience it playing out. These dudes never get past the first level, so they never acquire the reference experiences to mature and understand how life really works. And because they are weak and incapable at life, they are also weak and incapable at self-responsibility and properly assessing areas to improve and actions to take to make that improvement happen.
  14. One thing that makes me a little more optimistic about this hope is how well he showed out at the senior bowl. He's got smaller production numbers than we would like, but at least some of that is explainable when you look at going from JT Barret to Dwayne Haskins as your QB and then also the crowded reciever room he was a part of. But, when his number was called his catch percentage and QB rating while targeted are all near top of his class. He's first in marginal efficiency, 7th in marginal explosiveness, and 1st with 14.3 yards per target. https://www.sbnation.com/2019/3/5/18247493/terry-mclaurin-scouting-report
  15. I remember reading something about him working with a guy for months now, to address this issue. Hopefully, he comes into his rookie season surprising people.
  16. Hopefully with all that late bloomer talk pre-draft he still has more room to grow. He was a walk-on who grinded his way up from special teams to a starting role and eventually led his team in tackles. Here's hoping he can follow a similar, albeit probably accelerated trajectory for us. Hopefully our staff can get him some sand in has pants so he can play with more explosion, but that'll take more time than we have right now.
  17. https://art19.com/shows/cooley-and-kevin/episodes/5d721266-502c-46bc-a907-64b251c8e4d4 I found it interesting that at 1:24:28 Cooley says that he has Harmon graded as the best blocking wide receiver in the draft. He also said earlier in the segment that Harmon was great against press, which conflicts with some other reports I've read and was a potential worry for me.
  18. I feel you. I wanted to give him a chance to step up, but he's shown how he operates. I'm bowing out and making use of the ignore function.
  19. Wow. Claim? I quoted you. Lowering yourself to my level? Are you really trying to pull a victim card now. Do you think I'm attacking you by telling you to apologize and show you have some decency and integrity. When a person asks are you xyz, that does not equate to calling you xyz. How hard is it to apologize? You disgust me.
