  1. I think they’re targeting Moehrig or Jevon Holland. IIRC they’ve had multiple zoom calls with Jevon and also like his KR/PR potential.
  2. I’m low key hoping Campbell’s an option for us at 51. Him or a tackle.
  3. I’m pretty high on Davis and think he’s the most well rounded LB still available with very high upside and athletic ability. My top want was to trade down and get him but whatever he will be a major upgrade over Bostic. Military kid with a great background and football character as well.
  4. John Bates has surprisingly decent speed in those highlights and shows quite a few examples of high pointing some overthrown balls and showcasing an impressive wingspan. I can see why we would have some interest in him.
  5. My wife just saw Ron River walking out of Tysons. I told her to yell at him to pick JOK.
  6. Julio can barely practice week to week and is nearly always a question on game day. He's on the decline and the other issue is, what if he wants a new deal after being traded?
  7. Some scouts say they have Dylan Moses completely off their draft boards due to medicals. I’m super wary of spending a 3rd or 4th on a guy like that. Thought this was interesting. It’s lying season of course so who knows, but this might be one less team to worry about picking Darrisaw.
  8. Just listened to a little segment on John Keim’s IG that our team likes how Landon Collins is recovering from his injury and are thinking of having him play the Big Nickel and WILL. If that is the case then this might make them more likely to take Jamin Davis over JOK because he has more position flex at LB and could eventually take over for Jon Bostic. If this is true, I hope they trade down a little before making the pick.
  9. @clskinsfan I read it differently. It comes across as reporting on early stumbles but pulling back and making an evaluation on his production and abilities over 17 games. I think Lance has great traits, the right intangibles, and some base level experience with a pro system, plus evidence of improvement to his mechanics with his throwing motion. There is a lot to feel good about when projecting future success. He does need to work on his progressions and provide a larger sample size of high difficulty throws, but he also has the physical tools to lean on while adapting.
  10. How is this not a good article for Lance? He said Lance is really good and somewhere in between Andrew Luck and Dak Prescott. I’m all for that at the right price.
  11. @Skinsinparadise Nice call on Derrick Barnes, I love his explosion, quick downhill trigger, and strength. Plus, he’s stout at 245 lbs and has some pass rush ability.
  12. Well, he did win the championship in his division in 2019 and was the MVP in that game. I don’t think it’s crazy to think that Trey Lance could have had similar success as Mac Jones with that Alabama supporting cast. Mac Jones hasn’t played that many more games than him either.
  13. I'm higher on Lance than I was in the beginning of the year, because of how much I've learned about his intangibles and pro-style preparation that includes setting protections. Plus, I'm encouraged by how he's improved his delivery from his last game to his pro days.
  14. What's people's read on Monty Rice? I wasn't all that impressed with his 2020 tape and found him to be stiff and lacking in lateral agility. His RAS backs that up, however I heard he was playing with injuries this year and haven't dove into his 2019 tape. A later Day 3 guy I kind of like who would be in a similar mold as Khaleke Hudson would be Boston College's Isaiah McDuffie. That guy is fun to watch and even though he's on the small size he comes in like a missile to lay the wood. I read that some scouts have Dylan Moses off their draft board completely, due to medicals. I feel bad for the kid and hope he can prove to people he still has gas left in the tank. I'm also curious about Nick Niemann in the hopes the he could be a high upside guy we could mold into something like Cole Holcomb.
  15. I've been big on Rashod Bateman and Tylan Wallace since last years draft and I turned around on Nico Collins after his senior bowl. Dude changed his body and got more explosive. I've heard some concerning things about Seth Williams that could lead to inconsistency and unfulfilled potential. I like Josh Palmer though and think he's going to be better in the NFL than College. I think Ihmir Marsette could be an interesting option in the late third or fourth who we've been linked to. Probably more of a Z reciever who can also handle PR/KR duties. People are really excited about Simi Fehoko, but dude is 24 already and outside of that monstrous UCLA game and a couple other spots this season, where has he been? I still like his traits though. Austin Watkins is another interesting bigger body reciever who is related to Sammy Watkins. He's decent athletically with a 4.5 40, however he had some nice routes in the senior bowl and could be a late round possibility. If we want to look at late round 50/50 jump ball guys, you have to include Josh imatorbhebhe and then there are late rounder pure projects like Michael Strachan out of Charleston.
  16. Couldn’t remember if we have a military thread but this kind of fits with people possibly getting away with murder.
  17. Not sure how seriously we can take Fred Smoot at times but on his podcast he said he chopped it up with Rivera and he said he really liked Zaven Collins but saw him as more of a fit in a 3-4.
  18. I'd be happy as hell if we could trade down a bit and end up with either Najee or Etienne. We need weapons, they are weapons. They compliment Gibson and are insurance for injury.
  19. Anyone doing anything special for 420? My Wife and I are thinking of watching a playlist of the best episodes of comedy sitcoms where people get stoned. There are a couple New Girl episodes, South Park, Big Bang Theory, The Mayor, and some other ones. It’s a little different than watching your usual favorite stoner movie for the hundredth time.
