  1. Just a reminder guys, we have two teams looking for a GM in our Mock, RavenS and Titans...please let us know if anyone is interested in running them. Thank You!
  2. @Warhead36 yeah I’m just spitballing, but u never know until you ask. Maybe they are already open to it because they don’t think it’s possible, you never know. It would be up to us. A 1st and 2nd in this draft could make them think twice...
  3. And if it is us that gets offered the 3 Mia firsts + their 2nd(which I think isnt totally likely atm) we could conceivably have a trade in place to Move back up with Detroit for the 2nd first and 2nd to get CY + a first. Or some amalgamation of the 3 picks.
  4. Sileo is a grade A bum, but regardless, I'm certain we will listen to Miami. We'll ask for the moon, and we'll see how much they wanna risk on someone one'upping them. But the minimum starts with their 3 firsts and top 2nd imo.
  5. As time goes on, more and more you hear the chatter on the value of trading down. This draft is a great place to start the change of this organization. Right now I see us taking CY. But as we get closer and when a firm ridiculous offer is on the table it’s gonna be really interesting the choice this franchise makes. So stoked to see how this plays out. Either way we win honestly. I think it depends on those other picks in the first round, assuming it’s the Dolphins. Do we believe we’ve identified two supreme players when paired with Jeudy/Okudah/Simmons beat out just having Chase. Picks 15-28...
  6. I believe everyone is reading too much into all the coaches comments on DH, As justifiable as it may be. If they didn’t see him as part of the solution moving forward, I think the hiring process wouldn’t have gone so smoothly. I think they definitely want to send him a message to get ready to prove it and work. But overall they are excited about what he brings to the table, just my opinion.. Really liked hearing from Scott about catering the offense to DH’s strengths.
  7. I understand the view of taking Burrow. He’s the hot tamale, the king with the swing. An Unbelievable year. But I think you bag a haul of picks, and you roll with DH. It comes down to, do you believe in Haskins? I think the kid showed mettle, poise, and the ability to improve in almost every facet of his game over 7 weeks. For me his arrow is pointing straight up and sky high. Are there plenty of questions that remain, yes, but he showed me top end QB production over two games. After really starting from absolute 0. Can he put it all together? I give him the chance and everything he needs to be successful. And I look to grab from Simmons, Jeudy, Okudah and more ballers from the other picks...
  8. I’m open to new ideas on what a Change can look like, they should involve the fans on the decision at least as a sounding board. I’m also totally fine rolling with what we got. Winning is all that matters.!
  9. IMO.....Scott Turner & Ken Zampese > KOC & Tim Rattay . As a pairing I think we got this right. Zampese has alot of great experience and has been a part of some serious offenses over the years and worked with some amazing QB's so he will be the one to work with DH on the daily, excited about this. As a QB coach or passing game coordinator he's worked with Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, Kurt Warner, Baker Mayfield, Trent Green, Marc Bulger, Jon Kitna. He's had 3 big QB projects that he took lead on Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton, and Baker Mayfield...So the guy has done before exactly what we need him to do. Work with Dwayne and get him ready to go. People fretting over DH need to relax a little, we aren't discarding him, we are giving him plenty of tools to be successful.
  10. Since when does an OC get to pick “his” staff? Like what position coaches or assistant coaches are we talking about here? I just think it’s a bit presumptuous on KOC’s part about picking his people. RR is the head coach and it’s HIS staff not the OC’s... he musta been like huh? Let’s be real, if you aren’t playing games and there is no question you wanna be here long term you’d kill that story about potentially being McDaniels OC If he gets a job. This was his “ leverage card” and they made sure it got out to everyone. AND there wouldn’t be any issue about “picking your guys” for the offensive staff. This process makes me wonder about KOC a little bit, and not in a great way.
  11. I get the impression that KOC was noncommittal about continuing his time with the Skins. That he’d rather work with McDaniels (his bud), OBJ, Chubb, Hunt, Landry, and Mayfield. Why I assume this is because they’ve made sure it’s out there that he’s boys with McDaniels and would be tabbed as his OC in whatever job he gets. Everyone knows the “word on the street” even if sometimes they pretend they keep their heads in the sand. Going with someone younger and up and coming is not a surprise given his familiarity with Turner. Ron knows what he can do and not do having worked with Him for 3 years. I’m totally fine with the decision. Overall Offensive systems and coaching is trending way younger in the NFL., at least seems that way. I think the two guys are very similar. They are both well regarded young offensive minds. Turner has more experience in coaching while KOC has more experience playing football at a high level. Turner has the better pedigree given his dads success in the NFL, while KOC has the year with Haskins under his belt to bring to the table. I don’t know for certain we are missing out on something special with KOC while At the same time it cannot be discounted that we may have hired someone special in regards to Turner. I’m 100% on board with what Ron wants to do because that’s what we’ve brought him here for. Set his staff and plan in place and begin to execute it. Change is part of life, QBs either got it or don’t, not too worried about Haskins because If Turner has his stuff together he will make sure to cater the offense to what DH likes and does well, within his philosophy and design of the offense.
  12. Love seeing Chase in Skins gear as a kid and the antiCowboy tweets. Love Love Love. Meant to be, but I’d still change the title of this thread. Just in case.
  13. There is no need to rush really. I’m totally fine that whoever he chooses it will be the right fit for Ron. It’s a pretty big deal in this case because he’s a Defensive coach. To hand over an NFL offense to a young unproven guy like KOC Is a decision you can see he doesn’t take lightly. I’m fine with giving him some time to see what KOC and others have planned if they got the job. Then pick who is best for him.
  14. This is well deserved. He’s a game changer.
  15. @Panninho yeah my post was all hope, not really a declarative statement. I realize JJ is the most likely winner. Just making an ES case for our guy...🤙🏽
  16. If Mclaurin ends the season with two big games I think he’s got a shot.. he’s Definitely the underdog in the scenario. This is where I think it stands today. 1. Jacobs (Most likely out the ROS) 2. AJ Brown (averaging 10 yds Rac, wow) 3. Terry (more catches, tied TD’s w/ Brown, less avg/catch, and 50 less yards.) 4. Kyler (eh, OK but work to do) 5. Minshew (May have a better case than Kyler) Let’s Go TERRY! Lol
  17. He is the Real Deal. He can be as good as he wants to be and it looks like he wants to be real real good. He’s a game changer in every way. We are lucky to have him. What he is doing with our QB and Team situation this season is UNBELIEVABLE! He merits serious consideration for Offensive rookie of the year.
  18. He was the only ILB to flash multiple times on Sunday. This group is still an issue, it’s better, but still not great. Would love to see more from Bostic and SDH.
  19. We need you to shine Big fella!! Hope he starts to feel more comfortable, and balls out. This week is a good week to start.
  20. Excited to see TM on a GO route and let him go get it. Hope he brings the needed spark to our offense. Dam well know we need it.
  21. If we are planning on starting Case then I’d like to see him work in this next preseason game with Doctson, Richardson, Mclaurin, Reed and Davis. Have them get on the same page early.
  22. Yes! It’s around the corner. Me and the fam will be in Richmond for fam appreciation and kids day aug 2-7. The kids and I are getting out first taste of Skins camp, hope it inspires them to be lifelong fans! Poor little guys..lol.
  23. Dude is sounding more and more like the total package. Can’t wait to see him compete.
