  1. He was an awful passer from the pocket and struggled to read defenses, that’s what derailed his career not the leg.
  2. That’s a stretch. Plenty of guys come back from that injury and do just fine.
  3. They are both entertaining, but Robert is annoying. At least Jay takes ownership of his personal mistakes. Robert still doesn’t take accountability, always playing the victim and blaming someone else. It’s actually pretty nauseating. He had Kyle Shanahan and Sean McVay as OCs when he was here and still amounted to nothing. Pretty sure it wasn’t the coaching.
  4. Well, he came about as close to winning a SB as you can without actually doing it. And by all accounts, he played very well in the Super Bowl. Maybe Gibbs was right all along in hating the shotgun 😁
  5. Hurts and AJ are cancers?? I don’t think so. Both are top-five at their position and better than anyone we’ve had in a long, long time.
  6. It’s really the only thing you can knock Peters for. They had built up so much extra draft capital, that it didn’t really hurt them to take a chance on Lance. Imagine their team if he had lived up to the hype!
  7. Putting the Lance blunder on peters is nothing but speculation. But if we’re going to do it, look at the roster he has built despite that mistake! If anything, this should be reassuring that if our number to pick this year doesn’t work out, we are still in very good hands moving forward with Peters.
  8. I wish the Bengals had not drafted a QB at the top in 2000. And I’m wishing that the Bears do not take one this year. The Panthers just wish they would’ve taken a different QB.
  9. Because when you are one of if not the top job available and a HOF coach is looking for work there’s gonna be speculation. Embrace it, it is a compliment. Something we are not used to.
  10. Well, at least that narrows it down to just us and NE to trade with. And New England will have to offer more because there is always a risk that we would change our mind and take Harrison at two or trade down to somebody else who would take Harrison at 2. They may be content to take the safety of our offer, even if it’s less than what New England will pay.
  11. Great news if that means we get Caleb! I’ll believe it when I see it though. I think it’s reading too much into it to say that Eberflus staying automatically means Fields stays as well.
  12. Zac? Not sure I’m familiar with his work, but Mayhew absolutely has to go. Everyone from the previous regime should Probably be let go imo, and anybody involved in player acquisition such as Mayhew should be in the first bag to hit the curb. He had/has a horrible history as a GM and never should’ve been hired in the first place.
  13. I believe if the Chargers hire Harbaugh, that will leave us as easily the most attractive head coach opening available. So I think you will get your wish of Ben Johnson. I would be happy about that as well.
  14. Yes, it’s the GM. I don’t know exactly why, but the speculation I’ve heard is that San Fran was planning to promote Peters to GM and so Josh is using the ‘head of operations’ title to make sure it appears as a promotion for Peters. Otherwise it’s a lateral move where they could have been denied permission to interview him.
  15. Be patient with these people being negative. 25 years is a long time to be in a dysfunctional and abusive marriage. It’s going to be hard for some to trust again at first, but they will come around.
  16. Sorry, this has probably already been discussed, but do we have to wait for San Fran and the ravens to be eliminated from the playoffs to go after their assistant GM’s?
  17. Happy Bday Ron and thanks! Very well executed tank job this year. And you managed to make it look like you were trying all along. Brilliant. Best of luck and very sorry you were another victim of the Snyder reverse car wash effect.
  18. The Snyder name is even more of a laughingstock than the no-name name. All things Snyder must be banished. Switch it to Redwolves and be done with it already 😁
  19. Yes they chose to pass up Champ to take the extra picks. Had to it was too good a deal to pass up. Luckily he fell to where they could come back up and get him. What a great draft it was for us either way! 24 years ago, unironically the last time we had a real GM. It’s been Snyder hell ever since.
  20. Technically, we traded up for him. After Ditka foolishly gave us his entire draft, we had moved from number five back to number 12. We then traded back up from 12 to 7 I think to get champ.
  21. Yeah thanks for bringing that up. That comment had rubbed me wrong because it assumed the friends/family would be a bad element. Just as likely that the people around him are a net positive which based on his success so far is actually more likely the case. Sorry to sound lecturey
  22. To find the NFL version of Elias, look to the most steady and successful organization which right now is the ravens. So for me Hortiz sounds like the best hire. Regardless, I can’t wait to FINALLY have a top notch GM!
  23. I agree please no Belicheat! I don’t care if he’s a Hall of Famer, he’s over the hill. Hire the next young hot shot GM like the Orioles did with Elias, and then sit back and watch him build us a winner!
  24. Yes he’s sitting though of course the ravens are good enough to win the game anyway.
