  1. i was really paraphrasing several statements he's made in the past. he has actually said in recorded interviews that "none of his fans know who Fedor is" and "fedor is not a top 5 heavyweight"
  2. *Dana White* my fans don't know who Fedor is. He's not even a top 5 heavyweight. those crazy russians are hard to bargain with. Who has he fought? Sure he beat Big Nog twice, but i'm saying those don't count now. *Dana White*
  3. best i could do: from what i understand Ludwig wanted to continue, but the doc said the bleeding was too bad
  4. from the Josh Barnett vs. Yoshida match a couple of days ago: Barnett won by tap out in the 3rd

  6. BJ Penn has been training like mad to get into great shape which he is at 155. if he fought silva it would be at 185. silva would be too strong for BJ. not only that, the difference in reach would be insane. silva is smart enough to use his reach to his advantage. as talented as BJ is, there's only so muhc you can overcome in a fight. when watching Anderson Silva vs. Henderson, was anyone else surprised by how much bigger Silva looked in the cage compared to Hendo?. i just remember it looking as if Silva was close to 200lbs in the cage.
  7. don't give Dana any ideas  *prays dana doesn't read this thread*
  8. works for me. good fight. i think shogun getting hurt throws a little wrench into getting chuck another quick title shot. if he beat shogun, dana could market it as chuck beating the two guys who dominated rampage. now chuck will merely be 2-2 in his last 4 fights provided that he wins his next fight. in a division as stacked as the LHW division, i don't think you can justify giving a title shot to someone who is 2-2 in his last four...........but dana will find a way to make it happen
  9. damn i'm an idiot. i completely forgot about that matchup.
  10. why not put Liddell against Machida? Machida took no damage in his fight against Soko, so he would definitely be ready for another fight. i doubt dana would risk a fight with machida, because chuck stands a good chance of losing, which would throw a wrench into marketing.
  11. alessio sakara has the best nickname in mma, but he should give to somebody thats actually good. they didn't show arlovski because it was his last fight under contract, and he probably won't be resigned. they didn't so Diego because it was pretty one-sided against a no-name.
  12. i doubt they would fight each other, as they train together. it would be one of the most technical standup fights you'd see though. i would love to see that one. on another note, that training camp is sick right now. they got the HW title, MW title, and Machida could very well have the LHW soon enough. Blackhouse is potent.
  13. i'm not saying he can't be rocked, i'm just saying that Hendo had the best opportunity, and i don't see anyone else on the horizon right now who has a chance to rock him. Filho trains with Silva and fights @ 185lbs. they have both said that htey would never fight each other since they train together. in fact, in the post fight news conference, Anderson was asked about that potential matchup, and he said it was "impossible" as they train together.
  14. i thought it was a legit knockdown. the rules state if the ropes are holding you up, the ref can apply a standing 8 count.
  15. Hendo actually caught Silva flush with his right hand in the 2nd round, and silva kept coming forward. if dan's right hand couldn't slow silva down, i'm not sure if it can be done.
  16. ^^^that is a great shot, cameraman got that one perfect
  17. even though i'd love to see the fight, i just can't see a man who got knocked out by Matt Serra, not being KO'd by Anderson Silva.
  18. a fitting end to one of the best trilogies in boxing. this trilogy should be placed in a time capsule. early favorite for fight of the year. i scored it 114-111 for Vazquez
  19. 99QBKiller, here's your sig (i went easy on you  ): ^^^^^i will never doubt the greatness of Anderson "The Spider" Silva again:notworthy
  20. i wish i was dana, he's the only one making money off these fights:D
  21. Koscheck maybe kinda boring but he is still a top WW. he lasted 15min with GSP, something Hughes couldn't do. and its not like they put him on the spotlight, he was in the preliminaries. they only showed his fight tonight because it was actually exciting. and arlovski is on the undercard because it is the last fight on his contract and he probably won't be resigned
  22. 99, i got a sig comin up for you. i found something else
