  1. Yeah, yeah, I know we're supposed to trust the process here. But I don't want to have to miss Matsko down the road. He did a great job here, even when he was having to glue together irreparable pieces. I'm trying to be optimistic. But not all change is good.
  2. Those 4 could be potentially one of the best (if not THE) best rotation in the league. Mathis of course based upon potential and Ridgeway based upon WWF cage match moves.
  3. Agreed. Plus he would cost trade capital (someone on twitter suggested BRob) and cap space. BRob is on a rookie contract. so given my whuthers: I'd much rather have Orlando Brown blocking for BRob than have Turner blocking for Henry.
  4. I could see where we all would be a riser for more Kuntz. Impressive stuff there
  5. Excitement *with an asterisk here. If the Feds transfer the RFK site to the DC government in hopes to attract a new stadium, it should come with some sort of provision to keep the stupidity out of the process. Previously DC refused to consider the team in DC because they didn't like the name, and didn't like the owner. What if the Feds make this large grant and someone then decides that they don't "like" Bezos or Harris? Don't approve of a rebranded "Redwolves" or "WarHeads?" How great would it be to resurrect RFK site and return this team to its' rightful home? I'd much rather see Bezos make the purchase, do whatever re-branding needs to occur, and THEN bargain with Congress to obtain the site.
  6. I think I now see where the inspiration for "Tuddy" came from
  7. Everyone got all distracted with the terms "Kelli Johnson" and "Spread in the press box." Soon however bloodflow will return to our typing fingers and get us all back on track.
  8. Snyder may be an idiot, but he's a greedy idiot. He knows damn well that a (civil) $1.3 million settlement for misconduct suddenly balloons to $400 million once it is announced that he just took a $6B payday. I think there's some smoke here
  9. I imagine Mr. Bezos would have no problem establishing a group to purchase the team and then buy them out immediately. Heck, he could have a deal in place with one of the current bidders now.
  10. Both of them? Snyder has already chased them out. The few remaining have been holding on throughout all of the Snyder years, so I doubt this one would be much different
  11. That would be a pretty good slap in the face to JDR, and probably bring drama. So I'm not so certain that happens without some sort of equivalent move. That is not RRs style, so it will be interesting if true
  12. And don't overlook the (potential) for a significant discount on Amazon Prime
  13. The question was asked how a player could work hard but not be coachable. You and I have differing opinions on the importance of working with your coaches vs opting to be off on your own. And that's OK, that topic often leads to divided opinions on this board. I doubt either of us will change each others mind. But IMO, it becomes self>team and hence was why I answered the question as I did
  14. This might become an exercise in "what ifs" but certainly an interesting one.
  15. His time spent away from training camp could be a fine example of that kind of thought. Opting to work with his own trainer/reps doing things that he deemed important as opposed to what his coach thought was important. I'm sure he worked hard, but perhaps focused on things beyond the current teams scheme and need??
  16. No sir, Please let me be clear. I have not heard or read the "clean house" point, it is a conclusion I drew. But I think the point may have some merit .I will edit that post before I get quoted by Shefter
  17. I think we're gonna be stuck with whoever is left. Sean Payton poisoned that well. Him saying that potential buyers were considering hiring a new coach asap, (and thus their preferred coordinators?) Means that no promise made today may be still be valid tomorrow.. For that reason it's most likely going to be Zampese simply because we have no other options.
  18. You are correct. "A" is the easy get. Buy Washington and Bye Snyder wins every member here back However the "B" category is marketing. And there are some easy (but pricey) ways to get this: 1) Make game attendance the new "in thing" again. And you do that by making it easier. Largely an indoor stadium to avoid cold/rainy weather that makes the children uncomfortable 2) Remake the brand. Remember when the buzz when Cincinnati added the colorful and bold stripes to their helmets? Everyone watched them again for a game or two. Dump Tuddy and bring in the cool Red Wolf mascot that caught some attention. Holding on to those casual fans comes from winning and being relevant however. 3) Get a cute QB. Don't laugh here. I am the sole male at work. And my female coworkers who typically don't know the difference between a tight end and a nice butt come to work on Mondays talking about watching the Chiefs and Bengals with regularity. These fans really don't care about who the coach is, and wouldn't be easily swayed by adding Sean Payton or Peon Satan. There also exists the tougher "C" type. The 11 year old kid who's looking for a team to follow.., the same kid we all were. Win consistently. Be relevant once again, be the "home team" Don't be a douche. All things Snyder overlooked There also exists the
  19. Then we should also add the Suplex Ridgeway. I like that kid
  20. So with the Jurgenson ceremony and Howell starting, once again we get to have a little "Sonny and Sam." perfect timing!
  21. Who knows? Perhaps the stadium will be packed with us good guys there to celebrate the end of Dan. Last weeks cheers of "Heinicke" replaced with a stadium full of "nahnanahna Good Bye" or some other jeer NSFES
