  1. YOU'RE NOT CRYING HARD ENOUGH. That's it, off to the dungeon with you.
  2. I see JMS took my Jackson Pollock comparison to heart.
  3. Just don't go around whining about your leg and going to the emergency room. I don't want my tax dollars paying for your problems. :pfft:
  4. Hey, how did someone from FreeRepublic hack an ES member's account?
  5. I've read a lot of this stuff and it really sounds like hyperbole to me because I can't think of a single time I have seen someone give specific, plausible examples. How, specifically, will this bill deprive you of your freedom, your safety, your equality, your personal welfare, etc? I mean specifics, not just vague slogans like "government overreach" or what not.
  6. A sad, but not necessarily surprising, development. The son (or his handlers/advisers, or both) is probably trying to make sure that Kim Jong-il's death doesn't soften the peoples' fear that the government. A hard crackdown to make sure everyone stays in line and knows things haven't changed just because the leader has.
  7. That is one of the things I found so repugnant when I heard about all of his insanely expensive tastes, etc. so he spends $850,000 in a year on cognac and god knows how much on all of the other luxury things he had while his people starved and died. I just wonder how someone's brain can function with that sort of cognitive dissonance. It isn't as he if he had no clue his people were dying of famine.
  8. Maybe they just like to do lots of stargazing.
  9. No way. It was described by them as "double bread with meat" which is obviously completely different than a hamburger or sandwich. He was a culinary genius.
  10. Not sad to see Kim Jong il, the brutal dictator, go. But it does upset me that we lost the greatest golfer the world has ever known. According to the NK gov't, the first time he ever golfed he had 11 hole in ones and came in 38 under par; and you know it is true because ALL 17 of his bodyguards verified it.
  11. Thanks, SpringfieldSkins. It is a 2005 Grand Cherokee. If the cause is the fuel sending unit, you have any guesses as to how much it might cost to get fixed? Is is usually necessary for everything to be replaced (float, electrical components, fuel pump)?
  12. Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here or offer some possibilities. This just happened out of the blue today, twice, and I'm not sure what could cause it. I was running low on gas this morning and stopped to fill my tank up on the way to work. After about 10 bucks worth the pump handle clicks off, like it thinks the tank is full...which I know it isn't. I was in a hurry and figured maybe the pump was just screwy after trying it a couple more times, so I let it be. Tonight, on my way home I stopped again so I could actually fill the tank up (different station). The same thing happened after about 4 bucks worth. I started checking the opening to the tank after the nozzle would shut off, and it actually seemed like the tank WAS topping off or filling up, but then after a few seconds it would drain down in. I noticed that my fuel gauge is also sitting on empty even though there is no empty warning on the dash and I know i have about 15 bucks worth of gas in it. Any ideas what the issue could be? I thought maybe the tank was backed up somehow or there was a valve in there that got out of whack, not allowing the gas to go in fast enough...but it just happened so suddenly and randomly. Any ideas would be appreciated. Would a complete fuel system cleaner help out possibly?
  13. Agreed. Props to him for manning up on that one. :applause:
  14. Sofa of Hunter Smith? lol. How about The Sect of Smith?
