Currently working a 6er of Newcastle at home. I like the Octoberfest but I'd rather have the Newcastle, although I was torn between the 6er of Newcastle and 4pack of Young's Double Chocolate Stout in the nitro cans, I broke down and went with quantity over quality.

I hear ya! All I get out here is Cincy, Titans, Patriots, and Dallas crap, I'm lucky to stumble across a Thiesman jersey with plastic letters which look like the authentics right up to the point when you want to look at the stitching and find out that its gold ink that makes the layerd look. And don't even try to buy a hat, you might get one and if you're lucky two styles to choose from. I know it would go into Danny's pocket but I'd love to live in the 'Skins market area.

Ok, sampled a few over the past few weeks: Murphy's Irish Ale nitro-can: very good, I think I might like it a little more than the Guinness because it has less bite on the finish than the Guinness. Sam Adam's Octoberfest: my first bottle I wasn't a fan, but as I've been working through the sixer in the past week I think I actually like it quite a bit. Tuckaleechee Porter made by Smokey Mountain Brewery (micro-brew in Gatlinburg, TN) a nice malty ale with a thick taste and a hint of licorice in the finish. I also sampled one of theirs called Thunder Road, but woof it had a nasty after-taste almost like egg yolks or something, not good. Newcastle Brown Ale: wow, my favorite brown ale by far, a nice sweet malty flavor none of the hoppy bitterness that other have, a very nice beer to have with a dinner.

I love watching that cascade, and the feel of the thick foam mixing with that dry Irish ale... Speaking of which, I think I have a nitro-can in the fridge....gotta run!

When you pour hold the glass at an angle and let the first little bit hit the side of the glass, then straighten the glass and do a hard pour into the middle. This will ensure that the head builds nicely.

Wow, if I've ever seen a more inappropriate tattoo I can't remember it, and speaking as a pacifist I honestly hope that some really strong fella slips and accidentally sticks a fist in the tattoo wearer's face...if he slipped several times I probably wouldn't complain too much. You don't want to quote pics...trust me . All you need to do is quote the post, add a few ......... in the quote section then delete the images. That will leave a blue arrow in the quote box that will link back to the post. Sometimes folks say something like "LoL Billy Mays...just wrong."
