  1. Well that's one question that no longer needs to be answered.
  2. Yeah it was my first disappointment with Sam Adams. I use the Sam Adams Lite for cooking my brats, 2 bottles with diced onions in a backing dish 5 brats in the oven until they are completely cooked, then I transfer the entire dish to the grill and rotate the brats to the open flame for a few minutes at a time until nice and grilled. They are perfect this way, plus it allows me to honor a Sam Adams beer without actually having to drink a Lite beer. Reading this was like I wrote it myself.
  3. I would give it to my wife, but she doesn't drink beer. I really wanted to like that lambic too, but woof I had to gulp down the last 1/4 glass just to say I finished it. I have a 1 per night limit and I was really tempted to break that limit and have a real beer after that stinker.
  4. And the Cranberry Lambic, I have to say that its the first Sam Adam's that I didn't like, WAY too sweet, it has cranberries and maple syrup in it, I've still got another one in my fridge anyone want it?
  5. Young's Double Chocolate is an awesome brew, I was going to get one on tap from a restaurant the other night but they were out. Grrrr And my local Liquor Barn has been out of bottles and nitro cans as well...double grrrr.
  6. Remember when your mother used to say "You'd better stop making that face or it'll stay that way"? I'm glad I listened. To bad guido-girl didn't, but at least she can be a poster child for the cause.
  7. It would have better had they actually showed up rather than wasting their appearance on the entrance. Boooo Philly!
  8. Trappistes Rochefort #6 Belgian Ale: A: 4.5 out of 5. $5.75 per 11.2 oz bottle. Appearance: Golden colored ale, cloudy with a lot of particulate most settles to the bottom but a lot of it continues to float within the brew, thick white medium density head that clears fairly quickly. Aroma: Complex, sweet and yet spicy. I could smell the hops but the sweetness of the malts is present as well. It also has some pronounced fruit smells. Taste: This is where you just want to climb inside the glass. Rich malts moderate sweetness, light hoppiness. The flavor is so well blended that it seems like you catch them all at once. It is simply delicious, the flavors are very well balanced with the light hopps, you can also taste the sweetness. All of these flavors really mix well and are very nice. I can't imagine a brew much better than this. Mouthfeel: Moderate density, smooth, lightly carbonated, near the bottom you'll get the particulate more, but it doesn't detract.
  9. Stop hitting yourself...stop hitting yourself...:hysterical:
  10. Loves me some Sam's Winter Lager, first I got the seasonal variety pack then 2 days later bought a 12 of the Winter Lager....I don't think they'll last 'til Spring.
  11. I wouldn't have recognized her as Gwen, but she is certainly a cute passer-by.
  12. That is so wrong in so many ways that I totally...:hysterical:
  13. And apparently this cover is sexist, you know the cover that Palin herself posed for is sexist.../facepalm.
  14. BTW, that was a bogus helmet to helmet call on that play, total crap. Next year the NFL is considering allowing QB's to play in red jerseys.
  15. After watching those clips...I don't think you'd survive.
  16. Dang that chick is dirty, she has no place on the field of play. If I were her coach I'd bench her and yank her scholarship and file disciplinary action against her.
