I saw Nightcrawler. Honestly, I don't like endings like that or even "Gone Girl" because the psychopath goes unscathed. Good movies but far from the level of a "Memento" as far as plot structure goes.

Getting on a long butt flight - will probably watch a bunch. Saw the new Cinderella with my family... a little boring, and our daughter is a bit too young (6 years) and did not like it. I suppose there wasn't much they could do with that story that would really make me enjoy it.

I rarely get to watch Wiz games, but the box scores remind me of the 2010 through 2012 Lakers with Kobe and Pau. Aside from the superstars, the rest of the team didn't seem to give a great effort night in, and seemed coasting through the regular season into the playoffs. Seems like this Wiz team is disinterested in the regular season after tasting playoffs last year. I don't know if they will be able to flip a switch - this team has little juice.

Until Porter is gone from the Wizards its going to be painful seeing Noel's line on a nightly basis. Somehow Beal is managing to develop...

Otto Porter is a bust, I am calling it. If he had. juice, he would produce. But - no juice. Just a role player, not a major contrbutor. NBA ready is a nice way of saying 7th man off the bench ready.

Funny how the world changes. When I was a kid I would grab the post at 6 am and look up scores in the Sports section with opinions by Wilbon and Kornheiser. Now I simply read through the gamethread on a Wizards forum and get some opinion from familiar but anonymous posters and the NBA.com box scores. I am a husband/dad with little movie times. I watched a couple on airplanes. "Gone Girl" was probably the best... I missed the opening 5 mins the first time around and it brought the movie full circle when I saw it on the plane ride back. "This is Where I leave You" would be funnier if I was younger but I didn't relate to the family at all... it was okay, but not fantastic.. although I liked the ending. Saw some Japanese movie about a bored housewife turned bank teller having an affair with college boy... wanted to turn it off due how ridiculous of a story it was... I guess I need to be a middle age Japanese female to appreciate the whole "breaking the chains of society". "Fury", I really enjoyed it... typical war movie fare, but with tanks. Fun stuff and better than expected. Tried to sleep during some new Dracula type of movie...

Saw the last 5 min on Laker channel.. here comes Antwan Jamison and James Worthy talking about the game... impressive finish. Lakers talk is so depressing... you knew Washington was going to focus... Laker bigs couldnt match Humpries energy.... Washington reved upnthe pace. I loved watching Hump and Seraphin set up the pick and roll for Wall in the 4th... did they even do that with Nene? I dont like the Beal ball handling sets... seems too forced...but I understand that Wittman wants him to handle the basketball too, right?
