@TheDoyler23 and I might be saying some of the same things here, just different ways of saying it. If you go strong, and it feels right, definitely try it out. The club head most likely will end up with a closed look, so use your left hand to guide you and slowly move your hands/arms forward so your club head is aligned appropriately. If you don't, it might correct your slice but lose distance. Also, definitely get those hips working! could generate more club head speed!
  2. I appreciate the honesty in the back and forth, while helping me understand where you come from, instead of just a name behind a keyboard yelling back and forth. And on a side note, multiple times when you've posted a quick snapshot of your histroy and someone else mentioned it to me in the other thread, i've thought "I can't imagine what his mindset has gone through from leading a church to being basically the opposite".
  3. I do see more people with liberal ideology posting, do you not agree? Why would I ever think I'd be kicked off the board?
  4. I typically go by a few things for my religious experience: 1. my personal, and i'm Presbyterian. 2. My wife is apart of a megachurch (which i wish she wasn't) 3. I have friends that are in other churches not Presbyterian, including both right and left leaning friends. 4. I have non-religious friends. I guess i can reword the whole protected class question for you. There are 9 other protected classes aside from Religion and race, you mentioned 6. In this post you then only mention 3. I am not aware of churches as a whole or majority falling short on some of those, but would love to see what you think. I think for our back and forth on here, what i perceive (Please don't be offended :)) is that you have found that you believe what you previously believe cannot possibly be true. All the while other people believe its true, and use as a guiding principal, you seem to scoff at the notion (based on your sarcastic example above) that anyone can believe its true.
  5. Thank you for responding. I can see where you are coming from, and understand your point. In the end, people (hopefully) review candidates principals, goals, promises etc, and vote on who they align with. Which is why for those people that praise Trump for stating anything similar to "being a representative of the Christian people", I'll laugh in their face. And I know thats out there. I get my guard up though, when a wide brush sweeps across for many things that shouldn't. And that happens all too often in politics and political talk. In the end, I post on this board to learn. I see I'll be learning a lot of the left side of things, which some/many I may not agree with, but some I will.
  6. Wasn't asking you, however, I disagree. He is making a claim, and I am looking for examples of "Many" that "Tell their flock", that validates the claim. I don't think i'm asking for anything that isn't pertinent to the conversation. Additionally, i'm asking after a claim, not making claims and not backing it up.
  7. Can you provide examples of "they tell their clock go vote for.....legal for businesses to discriminate...", as you assert so strongly here?
  8. So my claim was many churches denounce discrimination. You state that many pastors decry discrimination in most of its forms. So we agree there I believe. You state that there are churches/pastors that voice the issue but typically only racism. I'm not sure what churches need to do with the other 6 classes that they aren't doing, considering if you remove race and religion there are 9 other classes. I'm not sure I like that claim how it's stated, but feel free to elaborate. And I think we can agree that there is a divide in some churches between laity and clergy. I've been in that situation. However, in my area, i've seen more churches where the laity does not like the decision of clergy in being too judgmental and not being outward in discrimination. So interested flip there from your area versus mine on that one.
  9. Many churches do loudly announce Christianity condemns discrimination. Have you gone to local churches to see what they have done, or are you just generalizing from what you've read?

I experimented back in the day, but settled on neutral, so can only give advice on my experience. A few questions though: When you miss, what do you tend to do, pull or slice? What is your club head speed, or if you don't know, do you feel you go generally fast or generally slow? Are your hips quick, do you feel you get enough movement with hips, or do your hips move slow or little?

The way to go with Vice!

I'd watch the "half the price" thing . Marketing might get you too! For Vice, in here is your comparison: ProV1 - $48 Chrome Soft - $45 (I still have mine from when they were $40, which is why i may consider TP5) TP5 - $40 Vice - $35 (to get the half price of pro-v1, you have to buy 5 dozen at once, then they are $25. However, each year many sites do buy 3 doz, get one free. So that would be $30/dozen for TP5, which is the same as vicepro if you buy 3 dozen. (33.75 for CS, 26 for prov1) Don't get me wrong, it can be the best value there for sure, just in bulk.

I agree people instantly taking something away from him is how i reacted. However, there have been links put out by the media. Whether you believe them or not is another thing. However, for anyone caring, Tiger is the best golfer we will ever see, if he used something that enhanced his ability to play, so be it. In golf that might make him hit slightly longer, not straighter.

Who uses what golf ball, and why? I am a Chrome soft guy currently, however, someone has been trying to turn me into a Taylormade TP5 person. Haven't tried yet... Chrome soft has seemed to be more straight on the drives, and definitely like green control. Plus the Truvis (Soccerball looking ones) are pretty neat looking.
  15. There are a lot of narcissistic business people who are very much like Trump that exist. Dealt with them....not fun.

Every year I regret not taking this Thursday and Friday off. Every year I make the same mistake.
  18. I was looking for live look ins on this while the Phils game was going on. Its crazy it lasted this long, I think a lot of general baseball fans were pulling for him to get a hit, while some wanted the record to go longer.
  19. Just FYI, I didnt bring it up as an argument. I brought it up as my experience, and after being pressed it turned into an "argument" But again. I hope all people in our society make each other better.
  20. That's a pretty big assumption to take (the bolded line), which is extremely inaccurate from every viewpoint I've seen. And no church I've ever seen has said anything remote to that. However, my belief in this also stems from that in my core group of friends there are 9 individuals or couples. 2 couples, 1 individual go to church on a regular basis. The remaining 6 are non-believers. The only people that I know that do anything charitable on a consistent basis are the church goers. They do some, but not as much. Now could they be doing things they don't share? Sure, but I highly doubt it. I have an (athiest) co-worker who actually helps a soup kitchen that is local to her 2-4x a month. She has shared with me in the past that she gets frustrated that so few people are willing to help outside of a church. Now, I agree, there are non-religious folks extremely active in communities. I've said similar things numerous times now. But in the end, if you champion for good things in communities, I do, ASF does...and on down the line...then who really cares? Lets just work together and assist those in need.
  21. ASF/PB - completely agree with your understanding/skepticism. In fact, I was responding when ASF's response was coming up about funds going to pastor's salaries. I would argue, if you give to many charities, there are expenses to run the charity. Just like a church. However the goal of the charity, and a church would be once you have those leftover, you use them for good. And to ASF, you would also factor in the manpower a church provides. While our church is donating 190 meals to the food bank, we are also signing up to help. Our pastor does home visits for shut-ins, as well as visits hospitals and such. Our Deacons send lunches to a local hospital in a program that helps those in need. And if you were a pastor, I'm sure there are other things you did, that a peer in the non religious life wouldn't think of doing. I know we can go back and forth. Just from my standpoint I was trying to clarify churches do serve a purpose, and that I would love if more non-religious folks were more active in communities. https://www.philanthropy.com/article/Religious-Americans-Give-More/153973
  22. Understood. I'd just argue since they do a lot of things, they serve a purpose. Also the purpose of fulfilling a person's religious beliefs is there too. Just because you don't have that need, does not mean other people don't have that need. And understand your point everything a church does can be had elsewhere without religion. The problem is from what i've seen, the giving of time and money is less when you aren't involved in a religion. That is not true for everyone, just overall, in fact someone posted a link a few pages ago showing giving is less. And i would be happy that people banded together for the good of things! thats what i think in the end, most people want to see! I'd rather say "Hey - don't care about religion, go donate your shoes at "XYZ"". "Don't care about worship? Give your % of your income every 2 weeks to the Homeless shelter in "XYZ"".
  23. Churches serve a lot of purposes. So if you don't believe, that's fine, I'd ask that you verse yourself with what churches do. For example, the church I am a member to has a clothes closet where people can donate, and we sell the items for $.50-$2. All funds go back into the church or to other charitable causes. We are also donating 190 meals to a local (faith based) kitchen that feeds the homeless in a city near Philly for the lent season. Curious, is there a need to "Replace" the church as you state. Why can't you have in addition to churches?
