  1. We would need to win next week and the Packers would need to win as well. We'd be in, then...Oh, and the Seahawks would need to lose either this week or next week. Well, the Vikings have made a living this season off of winning extremely close games and overcoming big deficits in the 2nd half of games...I won't count out any team that can be down 33 points in the 2nd half and still pull out a win lol...
  2. If the only thing you go off of are yards and completion %, I guess you could reach that conclusion. If you take your comment in bold literally, it means Heinicke's TD:INT ratio over the last 9 weeks was 0/27 lol...
  3. But I don't expect you or I to realize it...I do expect Rivera to realize it, though. He's paid millions of dollars to realize it...which is why I started my post out the way I did. Whatever Heinicke was able to bring to the table that helped the team win, Wentz clearly does not. At all. (and I'm not gonna argue this point...because TH most certainly did bring something that helped the team win). Because I think the argument being given is that Heinicke doesn't stink as much as Wentz...not that he doesn't stink at all. We have some here claiming that how Wentz played today was exactly how Heinicke played over the last 9 games...I have no idea how anyone reaches that conclusion. Hell, I don't even think Wentz would play like he did today over the course of 9 straight games lol...
  4. No he didn't lol...stop it. I imagine if you compared production and advances stats between the two in the 4th quarter when down by 7, there would be a significant difference. Hell, in past game day threads there were a ton of Heinicke doubters who were saying "Can we just tell Heinicke it's the 4th quarter and we're down by a TD when the game starts?"...One of the "K" guys here (don't remember which lol) even said he had to admit that Heinicke had ice water in his veins after the tying TD drive against the Giants. Nothing like that would be said at all about Wentz today.
  5. If they both stink, Rivera should have realized that and never made the QB change. Or better yet, kept Howell as Heinicke's backup. I was content with the change to Wentz but never in a million years did I expect him to **** his pants like he did today...apparently how he played early in the season is indeed his ceiling. If so, then Heinicke's ceiling is a bit higher than Wentz's ceiling.
  6. Dude...I said this back before the season and will say it again here: do NOT tempt the football gods!! Best and quickest way of seeing Wentz get injured again and Heinicke taking his place is to say stuff like this lol...just say "Thanks, Heinicke, we'll take it from here" and LEAVE IT!! lol Now I gotta cleanse this thread of any bad mojo...
  7. I have a work order to take care of in the morning that I really don't feel like doing lol...have nervous energy that's keeping me from going to sleep.
  8. i actually bought a Paula Abdul album back in the 90s lol...didn't like it much at all except for these two, which I think were back to back: What did you play? trying to imagine you playing while listening to this lol...
  9. I kinda look at it as the Browns are tied to Watson no matter how he plays over the next two weeks. They won't be wondering if they should trade him or draft a QB in the 2nd round...and he's already proved he's good, just needs more time after being away for so long. He'll have all offseason to keep getting himself acclimated to the offense and his teammates. Him getting injured would delay all of that. So it might play a role in things as well.
