  1. I got that, too lol... Tesla dealerships are gonna be saying "Would you like to add on a steering wheel option? Only $8 bucks a month. Great....Now, what about door handles? Just $8 per month..."
  2. This entire Twitter thread is insane lol... Fox got into Dominion conspiracy theories in the first place because Sidney Powell got a deranged email from someone who thought she was a ghost, and Antonin Scalia was murdered in a Most Dangerous Game-style "human hunting expedition."
  3. It's very unique, yeah...it doesn't scream "commitment" but it also doesn't scream "We don't want him here". You bring the guy back 5 years in a row it usually means you want him, but you don't give him any more commitment than 12 months it usually means you're hedging your bets. Maybe it was Bieniemy's choice to do 1-year contracts? Like he thought he'd get a chance somewhere else or something--****, I don't know lol....
  4. That's why I never understood the belief going around that the Chiefs "have been trying to get rid of Bieniemy for years"...if he was on nothing but one-year contracts, getting rid of him would have been damn easy lol.
  5. I agree with this. I remember one offseason when a writer claimed we'd be going after a number of big-name free agents and almost everyone here blasted the guy and said he hadn't been paying attention, we more or less stopped doing that under Bruce Allen...and that the writer was using an old narrative.
  6. Giants fans have a different reaction than Cowboys fans...they have focused mainly on Bieniemy either being overrated ("Reid called all the plays") or Eric's "troubled past" making him a risky hire at best. None of the comments said it was a good move that should help the team. The Eagles' message boards are such a cluster**** that I gave up trying to see if anything was being said there lol..
  7. Some Cowboys fans' comments...many were dismissive, but some were not: "Anything resembling a sane move by that crappy org is bothersome. He will probably improve their offense and be a good leader for the new QB." "5 star chef at a fast food joint" "That's the kind of hire we should have made. But we tend to regress as opposed to progress." "So maybe he is a product of Mahomes, but then again maybe he isn’t. That’s scary **! If he’s only half as good he’s still twice as good as anything we’ve had here in the past decade...us not grabbing or at least offering him whatever tf the Commanders gave him pisses me off!" "My guess is they are going to feast off Andy Reid's playbook/play design." "I don't think he is a product of Maholmes. I fully credit Reid on Maholmes. Nonetheless, he is a good hire by the Commanders. We should have done that. Instead we hire "friends of McCarthy" and expect a different result." "well that Cements it with Howell and This new offense we are going to be in the basement of the NFCE this year."
  8. Two weirdest perspectives/viewpoints/theories I read on twitter in all of this lol: 1. Guy blamed fans for showing excitement over the possibility of hiring Bieniemy for OC, because Snyder would see how excited we all are and would decide not to sell the team because of it. 2. When hearing that Snyder sent the private jet to take Jason Wright from California back to the east coast to meet Bieniemy (I guess they grew up in the same area), another guy on twitter thought it was Snyder trying to show the league owners he really has changed and is making good decisions in order to get their blessing in remaining owner.
  9. Owners are usually in on GM hires. Plus, we don't have a team president on the football side of things. Snyder came in, fired Casserly, and kept Norv...then inserted himself and Cerrato in as GM, and remained the de facto general manager for the next 17 years. That would be "doing a Snyder".
  10. Former NFL defensive back Eric Johnson was arrested, along with seven others, on human trafficking charges in Georgia, Nick Bromberg of Yahoo Sports reports. Charges for the eight range from human trafficking, racketeering, aggravated assault, kidnapping and gang-related offenses. Georgia attorney general Chris Carr claims, per Yahoo, that the seven men and one woman arrested “are alleged to have engaged in the trafficking of five female victims, including one minor, to further their criminal enterprise.” Johnson, who played with three NFL teams from 2000-05, is facing a charge of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, a count of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and three charges of violating the state’s street gang terrorism and prevention act. The alleged crimes were committed between October 2021 and July 2022.
  11. Good lord, I hope not...hoping the new owner focuses on who they want as the GM, and then lets them decide who should be coach.
  12. Was this posted this morning? lol...if so, trying to see how anyone would know this. I just wondered the same thing lol...
  13. I haven't read even one sentence on the topic lol...but I'm confused as to what the issue is. On the surface it kinda sounds like "We need to keep marijuana illegal for the sake of those poor drug-sniffing dogs," which can't be right lol...
  14. I'm still a fan of making all porn sites have the .xxx extension instead of .com/.org/etc. And then making it the parent's responsibility to block all sites ending with .xxx...browsers can provide that feature for parents to use with a password so only they can unblock it. Do the same with your kid's iPhone... and if the kid still gets around those safeguards, oh well. Because of the nature of the internet, it's impossible to eliminate--or even come close to eliminating--access to a ****-ton of stuff. So parents, do what you can, have talks with your kids on the subject, and check up on them regularly. The only avenues that would come close to working is 1) banning all porn, and 2) making free porn illegal.
  15. There ya go! lol - Considering I spent about 12 seconds thinking about it, I would say that's probably accurate lol... - Videotaping yourself killing and torturing kittens, posting those videos online, and then murdering an innocent man isn't on the top 100,000 Ways To **** Around list lol...
