He has zero. Zero. And absolutely no ability to change tempos or pick up on the pulse of a game. He's really awful.

I cannot wait until Turner is gone. He is uniquely awful.

Nah Nah Nah…Nah Nah Nah…Hey Hey Hey…GOODBYE CLOWNSHOES

No it is one of the most prestigious in this particular area. I know this because i work in NYC in this area of the law for a living. And I also know that no minority owner would want to infuse cash into an enterprise where the previous owner has a 25 track record of running the asset into the ground and destroying value and simply write a check so that the same owner can continue running the asset into the ground and destroying value. That's called throwing good money after bad money. -

This. My speculation is that Snyder is getting ahead of what will be devastating publicity for him once Mary Jo White's report is made public. I'm sure the owners have seen the draft and have the ammunition to say you either sell now and get what you can or we force you out and sell it at a fire sale through a liquidation trustee. There's no way Dan does this now and hires a top 3 investment bank to bring on a minority partner. He may want to try to remain as a minority partner, but make no mistake: this is a sale of either a controlling stake or the entire franchise. Dan can't maximize value for this franchise as the majority owner--he can't get a stadium built and he's running the revenue of the other owners into the ground. The fact that he's retained bankers tells us that even Dan now realizes that he needs to cash this out and maximize value before he's forced out. -
Just like his father when he was a head coach here...

When i first joined this board, hell even 5 years ago, if a coach had said something as absurd as Rivera said today in a presser, there'd be hundreds of members here and maybe thousands reading. I come on a few minutes ago to find that there are like less than 20 people even interested in anything to do with this team anymore. And I totally get it. Most normal people wrote this franchise off years ago and for good reason. This franchise is completely dead in the water until the other owners wake up and forcibly remove Snyder from the lunch table.

Ron Rivera is stupid and stubborn. Brutal combo for anyone let alone a head coach in the NFL. It's been his calling card since he arrived. Can he related to players and maybe even get them up from time to time? Perhaps, but he's got zero ability to identify coaching talent and absolutely no clue how to manage in game situations. He also never learned the adage: when you're in a hole, stop digging. His comments about the QB were so absurdly out of line and even if you give him a pass for blurting something out, he then doubled down and got called out for his ridiculous explanations. He should have anticipated a question like this from the media and deflected it back among the coaches. He should have taken some responsibility. He should have done anything but what he did. And he did it. Absolute moron. -
Obviously, Ron Rivera needs to go. He may be a dim bulb, but he's not so dim that he fails to realize this will be the last head coaching gig he gets in the NFL. He's going to hold on for dear life. We will know he's really desperate when he cans Scott Turner, who has zero business being an offensive coordinator in this league. We run two of the worst schemes I've seen--on offense and defense--in a long time. It's painful to watch. This franchise under Snyder does one thing well: runs away from success at light speed.

Can You See Your Fandom Ending at Some Point???

I've started betting against them and am making good money in the process. Does that mean I'm not a fan or that I cheer for their failure? No, it just means I want to derive something positive from my relationship with this franchise, and that's where we are these days. Just an incredibly sad state of affairs. I don't know what joy Dan Snyder could possibly derive from owning this team other than the fact that it feeds his insatiable ego to be an NFL owner and that combined with his greed means he will never, ever willingly part ways with the franchise. And for so long as the latter point is true, we will never ever have any success as a franchise. It starts and stops with Dan. He can't build a winner here. -
