Yeah I realize that. I’ve been watching football all my life. You know what else I realize? Baltimore’s a well coached team. You didn’t see their third and 4th string guys make boneheaded penalty after boneheaded penalty. Wanna know why? Bc they expect discipline and effort from who ever is on the roster for as long as they are on the roster. This team will come out and perform just like it did in the preseason in week 1. Move the ball a bit and stall in the red zone bc Scott Turner has zero creativity or feel for playcalling and then fall behind because the defense can’t get off the field. Im just so sick of it.

But without any linebackers and secondary guys. The d line needs time to get there. We give all receivers free releases and in man we can’t keep up and in zone we get destroyed. It’s a horrific scheme.

I completely agree with this. It's hard to watch. This entire staff is clueless and you can tell the players know it. When guys know they are not being put in a position to succeed, they stop believing and their play is flat and uninspired.

I don't get Rivera. How can you surround yourself with Turner and Del Rio and expect results? Both guys will not be coordinators in this league after they all get fired here.

Don’t worry there will be time to be really disappointed during the regular season. This was just preseason disappointment.

Agree with all of this except the hot water part. He should just be gone if he doesn’t produce show serious strides this year. I think he will be bc he’s either too loyal or not bright enough (or both) to realize what a liability both of his coordinators are.

Love Shaka Toney. Make him a starter.

Another 15 yrd penalty on the defense. Just giving up 8 yards like it’s nothing with another 15 tacked on for good measure. Normal commoders football.

Can we go three and out when we had second and 1????? Turner is conservative when he should be aggressive and aggressive when he should be conservative. Just a total dud.

good point. My guess is that Reid’s theories of when the dress rehearsal is wouldn’t impact Rivera’s approach…at least I hope not.

This team just looks totally unmotivated. There’s no passion anywhere. It’s strange bc you’d think there’d be some excitement at least in preseason but you don’t see it. Guys just seem like they’re going through the motions but no one believes or really wants to be here. Very odd.

Every third and short is a low percentage throw. Where are the crossing routes??? Third and 4 should be automatic for an offense in this day and age. Turner can’t figure out how to exploit any matchup. Haven’t seen him do it ever.

ive seen enough of Turner to know that he’s not the right guy. He has no feel for in game playcalling and his scheme just doesn’t take advantage of matchups the way modern schemes do.

It’s really hard to watch this Turner offense. There’s zero aggression or creativity. 2nd and 1 is the best down in football for an offense. We have had it twice and we run it up the middle…no misdirection, no aggression.

thats not a bold prediction. We all want to ignore the facts with this team and the facts are that we have one of the worst coaching staffs in all of football.

This team is just awful. Awful in every single phase of the game in Rivera's third year.
