You have to be surprised by what has transpired so far this year to be frustrated. I am not surprised so I'm not frustrated. The team went 7-9 last year and was in the worst division in football and they still don't have a proven franchise QB. I predicted they would go anywhere from 6-11 to 8-9 because they are facing many of the best QBs in the NFL to include three all-time greats without having a franchise QB of their own. The way the defense has played so far, however, six wins may be a bit optimistic.

That's the consensus, but someone or two may prove to be a franchise QB. To be clear, I'm not talking about tanking. Their schedule is so tough that tanking won't be necessary.

Yes, the team is bad...again. But the defense is atrocious and looks helpless and confused. Everyone knew the LBs were awful last year and other than a high draft pick being spent, the talent level remains mediocre. If the team loses to Atlanta, I predict they will be picking top 5 in the upcoming draft. With any hope a franchise QB will be within reach.

There's a reason Dallas is hated by so many fans and why fans believe in conspiracies. This has happened too many times to teams that play Dallas. Their game against the Chargers is Exhibit A. I figured it out early in the game that there was no way Dallas was losing that game. The MVPs were the officials who rescued Dallas time after time. Dallas should have loss by at least two TDs. If the refs keep this up in Dallas games, they will hold every team they play to 17 points or less. The Chargers should have had at least 34 points. The biggest disgrace is how the media frames it as Dallas playing great defense and the Chargers self-destructing.

That was the score in Super Bowl XXVI between the two teams, except Washington won. Wow! That was 30 years ago! It would be nice if Washington could keep the game close. So far, the NFL season has been unpredictable, so anything can happen. We know the WFT "predictably" doesn't show up in the first quarter. I agree that the offense lacks imagination when compared to other offenses. But it may have everything to do with the QB position. Also, I would like to give a huge shoutout to the officials who did everything in their power to give Washington the victory. In fact, they were the reason Washington only loss by four points. The way Washington was dominated from start to finish, nothing else explains it.

I don't think the team is years away if they get a very good to great QB that's not a rookie. If they get that QB in next year's draft, I would agree that the team would be 2 or three years away.

I was just thinking that. The middle has been like the Grand Canyon all day. The score was not indicative of how thoroughly Washington was dominated.
