  1. if you actually watched him play.. calling him ever mediocre is a reach. and since he is about to have hip surgery its an easy decision
  2. The team was below average when he joined... and was plain bad by year end 23. We have the worst D in the NFL One of the worst Olines Not a single elite player on the roster.. and only 2 players i would consider good (Curl & Robinson) from the last 4 years of drafts. No significant FA contributors Still no QB Brought it terrible coaches that set this team back: OCs - Turner - bad. Bienime - horrible (might have helped destroy Howell career) DC - 4 y of this moron.. and he only fired him to save his own butt in 23 Constantly dumb statements on the podium... A blind monkey throwing darts at a wish board could have gotten better results. Yes Snyder is a complete sh!tshow of an owner and bears much of the responsibility for the team .. but he was not responsible for most of Ron decisions (outside of Haskins).
  3. The amount of Ron apologists on this forum is hilarious.. which again drives my point that we have some of the dumbest fans in the NFL. Ron is a complete buffoon that ran this org in to the ground with his drafts, hiring decisions and public speaking skills. He is competing for the worst DC coach ever... below Zorn level. yet.. somehow its all Snyders fault.
  4. yeah but....... our culture was awesome.. someone send me a superbowl ring!
  5. I am ok with Quinn.. will give him the benefit of the doubt and see how things play out... Kingsburry is an interesting hire.. didnt follow him much but he apparently was a somewhat hot commodity as an OC - I am just excited its not Bienime.
  6. you honestly obtuse enough to believe that FOs and coaches don't agree to wink nod contracts prior to satisfying all the legal requirements prior to an 'official' offer? what are you 12?
  7. They interviewed Bienime for HC job. I am not peddling anything.. just using this thing called google and common sense.. you should try it. its not any more or any less legitimate than what Keim said. I admire you.. you dont let things like common sense get in the way of your thoughtless drivel. Okay mr reputation police. Apparently you got the market cornered on what's considered reputable? I hear Taylor Swift wants at threesome with Mohomes and Kelce can you double check that for me big boy?
  8. \ Kind of a dumb argument... "there are no reports that an offer was made, because no one would admin to it" well... there are no reports that no offer was made so it must be false. Here is one... nobody here know anything about what's actually transpired, we're all guessing based on crumbs we can find on the internet. Then there are 'save face' stories written specifically to cover FO behinds so they dont look bad, so please dont be so naive as to think that any story written post fact by team paid reporters is absolutely true. You can choose to believe whatever you want. my incredible pessimistic view has been mostly right the last 30y with horrible ownership and coaching. I can smell crap from a 100 miles away at this point. You should change your name to Stockholm_Syndrome... "hey we have a new owner! so he is going to be awesome by default"
  9. Disagree... They made an offer to both Johnsons and Mcdonald. Johnsosn wanted too much money and Mcdonald chose Sea (we dont know the reason) To mee it reeks of lack on unified visions and understanding of what they want.. 1. They should have known Johnsons price early on instead of wasting time and waiting until all other Good OCs got picked up. 2. If they are going after O coach and see value there.. then had to switch to D coached because no good OCs were left. 3. In the end had to settle for a retread that while having a good D in Dal, underperformed in the playoffs consistently .. and now trying to sell everyone on how "respected and good he is) ala Rivera 4y ago.
  10. One things is becoming somewhat painfully clear.... 1. Wash was not this cant miss, amazing, #1 option for Head Coaches (even with Harris and Peters here) 2. HC search seemed to be all over the place and they had to settle for the (at least from what we know now) #3 choice. 3. Beyond being a better person... so far, i have not seen much from Harris/ Peters that tells we have a much more apt FO ... i guess time will tell
  11. it was probably more of a knee jerk reaction on my end to the hiring.. but it just sounds SO MUCH like the the rhetoric around the Ron hire 4y ago. 'great guy and leader of men" 'well respected by players, agents and coaches' 'great D mind' 'great culture guy' etc. i dont care about any of that! That's the sh!t they print to sell stories to ignorant fans. 1. If he is truly a hands-on, innovative DC... i expect him to run the D or at least be heavily involved. he should be able to find the right mix of personnel and scheme to help our D perform on an at least avg level and get the most out of the garbage draft players Rivera left us with 2. its now imperative they find a hot shot innovative OC to pair with Quinn, not some old retread hired through nepotism. 3. Have peters work the draft and FA to find some gems The next few days will be very interesting.
  12. yeeah... and Ron Rivera is universally loved and respected in the league according to all the pundits. Yet he is dogsh!t as a HC as we all know. What's that respect worth now?
  13. Did Harris and Peters use Bruce Allen as an advisor on coach search? what a sh!t show of a hire! Literally the exact opposite of what we need. let me guess... these geniuse's next move will be to retain Bienime as OC. They get a18 advisors and Dan fockin Quinn is what you get (after he gets ripped by Parsons for terrible D in the playoffs)
  14. We probably dodged a bullet with Ben Johnson. He is obviously not secure in his ability to run a team as a HC.. He is the next Josh Mcdaniels
  15. That doesnt make sense... if he was the HC here.. you dont think him saying "i dont want this guy at #2" wouldn't carry any weight with FO?
  16. Harris and Peters really fudged the pooch on this one eh? the number 1 vacancy option and we are left to sort through the trash no one else wanted? You're telling me they didn't know the roundpark figure of what Ben Johnson wanted before Det got kicked out of playoffs??? I'd be OK with Vrabel though
  17. The most you can get in a trade is 3 future 1st rd picks i believe. But lets say someone does make a godfather offer with multitude of pics and players. I would be ok with trading for Fields for high 3rd or maybe 3, 5 as a reclamation project and drafting a QB or two mid first and later in the draft if you like them. Depending on what system Peters and Johnson decide to install.. if we follow the 49er model.. you could plug in any decent QB with high end results.
  18. yeah .. thats what got Vikings in to trouble... they were 13-3 in 2017 with Sam (freaking) Bradford and Case Keenum thinking was.." well we have a stacked roster, 'Kurt' will get us over the edge"... in 2018 they went 8-7-1 with Cousins, 2019 10-6, etc
