  1. Glad you stated this. I don't like seeing Dwayne promoting clowns like Ocho Cinco or any other coach for the Skins. In fact, this might be a good starting point with Coach Ron and Dwayne about how to grow up and act like a leader.
  2. I think both of these guys will be good players next year and beyond. Sweat needs a good offseason of adding strength and working on some moves....get him a coach who's played....Galette would be perfect. Sims is a weapon in the slot. Good find, coach him up.
  3. This season has been a great learning experience for me. I won't quit on the players ever again if I see them busting their asses to win, no matter how bad the management is. Kudos to this group and the vets (AP, Kerrigan, Collins) who have done their part to hold this team together. I hate Bruce but he may have been right about the culture amongst these players and coaches. The big mistake Bruce and Dan made was bringing Jay back....we have talent. I really appreciate what AP has done for this team...he has been a tremendous pro. I would bring him back next year too....
  4. I'll do you one better, had Callahan started the season as head coach we would be at or near the top of the NFC East right now. Gruden quit coaching and cost us multiple early season wins. Haskins may have been further along by now too.
  5. Just saw where we will have approx 70 mil in cap space this off-season...very exciting. Given the young talent on the roster, tons of money to spend and a high draft pick with a "damn good culture" we should be able to coax just about any coach we want to come to DC. Just fire Bruce and let's roll. Looking forward to next season already.
  6. From what I've seen of Harmon, Simms Jr and Davis I'm totally comfortable with going with the kids. In fact, I wonder how long it takes Simms to beat out Quinn for the slot job? If Reed plays, Case will have nice options to throw to....can't wait to see it.
  7. I'll speak for myself, I don't want to run Doc out of town, I want him to play like the #1 pick he was. But if that's not happening and the others are outperforming him in camp then I hope they keep the best 6 or 7 guys whether Doc is one of them or not. I'd love to see him make the team and produce like a #1 pick. Who wants to see their team cut a former #1 pick after 4 years of little production? Not me.
  8. If a WR can run, catch and get open I don't over value the experience factor. That's the coaches job to figure out how to get them comfortable and productive in a hurry. Doctson has lots of NFL experience but doesn't seem to have a leg up on any of our young guys. Coach em up and run them out there....they will be fine if they have the skill set. Can't wait to see McClaurin, Sims, Simms Jr, Davis and Quinn do their thing.
  9. We signed Paul Richardson to huge dollars last offseason and he needs to be a big part of this offense. For some reason I feel like nobody really puts much thought into him. He needs to be our DJax and he needs to stay on the field. I expect PRich to produce this year. Also, Jay needs to use Reed and Davis in the mismatches they should create. If our defense is supposed to be so good the offense needs to compliment it. Keenum has shown he can produce so Jay needs to push this offense to higher places. The backs, TE's and receivers are all in place. Keenum just needs to be solid til Hask is ready.
  10. I hear your point but it would be nice to see something more out of Doctson. How bout some quotes about getting the ball more, pushing the others as a leader, or showing something that demonstrates how much he cares and wants to win? Kirk Cousins had the "you like that" quote cause he was pissed off, I'd love to see Doctson catch a pass and get up and show some fire by yelling "throw me the damn ball!" Give us some Keyshawn or something close. Keyshawn went out and jacked up Justin Bieber for speeding through his neighborhood....maybe Doc could get in one of the Jonas brothers faces? Something that shows he has some kind of tude inside him....I need to see some fire on the field out of Doc.
  11. Why do I get the impression that Doc just doesn't have the heart or burning desire to tear it up in the NFL? I just don't see the fire inside....
  12. All good points. Add in the instability at QB last season and you could argue that Doc hasn't had much to work with. That being said, the coaches have seen him for 4 years over 3 years now and they know what he is. If they are seeing him as just another guy in their mix of young WR's then he may be the odd man out. Doc hasn't shown that he is a guy who demands the ball and puts fear into defenses. As for having the worst WR corp in the league that's hard to say. We definitely have the most unknown WR group to the outsider. I hope Doc steps up and leads this team in receiving as Jay is on record as saying they've got to target him more. I just wonder if he's gonna be here.
  13. It's been on multiple times already... I saw it on Sunday and then again either yesterday or today. Keep checking in.
  14. Trade him over cutting him is definitely option A, but cutting him might be the only option. The Skins have tipped their hand a bit by not picking up his option for next year so the writing is more than on the wall about what they think of him. If there are other WR's having great camps how can you keep Doc over them and then watch another team go and sign a Robert Davis or Cam Sims, Kidzy? Gruden is now on record as saying the talent they have at WR is gonna make it tough to decide who to cut, another sign that Doc could be the odd man out? To me it seems as though Doc is less hungry than the others and may even welcome a change of scenery.
  15. I did...you and I have been on the same page. We can't cut some of these other guys just to keep Doc. Kidzy can play as can the other notables.
  16. Great question. They took Apke last year for similar reasons? Thank God they didn't go kicker, punter or long snapper in the 3rd round and grabbed McClaurin.
  17. Between Davis and Sims I expect Doctson to be traded or cut this summer. We have some hungry, talented young WR's who want it more.
  18. This draft has the potential to be special....Can't wait to see how Hask, McLaurin, Love, Guice, Quinn, Sims, Harmon and whoever else we add grow together in the coming years. Not to mention the defensive additions. Sweat and Moreland are players. If the offensive lineman pan out this draft will be crazy special.
  19. In my dreams Montez Sweat is Wilbur Marshall ll.....If he can come in here and become a disruptive force opposite Kerrigan, with the inside push of Ionaiddis and the Bama boys, we are gonna give offensive lines trouble. How can you not get excited about the team we have assembled across the board, especially the speed and athleticism? Sweat, Foster and Collins are three huge adds to this defense.
  20. I like the way you spelled this out...I too think Quinn can replace Crowder. Hopefully these rookies can play and this draft becomes stellar.
  21. Like you, I'm just now processing what our defense could look like with Ion healthy, Reub Foster, Sweat and obtw......Landon Colins. The additions on paper are sick. And I'm loving the ballhawk from JMU. Just think if Josh Norman gets focused and reverts back to his salad days?
  22. Snyder needs to take over the rest of this draft, mini camp, summer camp and the entire season. The guy has a knack for this NFL thing.
  23. Watch how open and for how long Bibbs gets....He could've had a hot dog in the time that he was open.
  24. The Skins need to get healthy....they are treading water and will win the division on the win one, lose one train at this point. If they can get back Crowder, Trent and solidify the o-line, the passing game should improve. Maurice Harris is turning into a nice player and Doc is showing up more. Reed made some plays yesterday. I believe Jay will keep this team fighting and my target is 9 wins to win the division with 10 being a virtual lock. A win at home this Sunday would be gigantic to our playoff hopes....let's get it.
