  1. It's fun to watch the tables continuously turn. I remember not too long ago the right was complaining about how we wouldn't label terrorism as such when it came to a certain group.
  2. So, i took some old rough cut lumber that used to be roof joists in our home. 1952 rough cut 2 x 6. Used a table saw to rip them into 1 x 6. Then used a planer to smooth them. Went back to the table saw used a dado blade to cut a 9/16 inch groove on the 1 x 6. Took 1/2 inch sanded plywood, and cut a 24" x 30" sheet. Then I used a mitre saw to cut two 25" and two 30" pieces of 1 x 6, with 45 degree cuts at each end. I slid the plywood into the grooves on 1 the 1 x 6 to make the table top. Went back to table saw, and ripped 2 x 2 pieces, then put a jig on the table saw to taper them from 2 to 1.5 inches for the legs. Stained the whole thing, then 2 coats of poly over all of it. I then glued down a legend of zelda puzzle my son and i put together, then poured epoxy over it. This was his birthday present...
  3. @AsburySkinsFan joking aside, i see it man. its disappointing. i argue with my parents about it
  4. dam, that's deep. i just figured the strip mall upped the rent too high or shut down.
  5. Yep and this is where we discuss space politics. lol
  6. Gtfo out of star wars thread with politixs
  7. Even a moderate diy'er won't have much need ever for an electric drill. I believe industry is moving away from nicad. lithium ion way to go. 18v is plenty for most diy'ers
  8. @skinfan2k be careful asking @zoony he is the tim taylor of es. dude bought a coin operated washer and dryer. he will suggest the 57 volt with expandable power that u can't buy at a pathetic chain like lowes or home Depot .
  9. zoony is the tool expert. anything dewalt is nice. if you can afford the brushless model, get it. if you don't yank it out and actually back the screws out, your patching will be minimal. you can custom build a vanity relatively easily. if not, replacing tile is gonna be a ****. (the removal of the old stuff, specificallY^)
  10. Fair enough. I admittedly know less than most here about it, lucky enough to have always had pretty decent insurance. I just didn't think Larry was saying what you think he's saying.
  11. Larry and i almost never agree. But even i will say 100% Larry isn't one of those people. Obamacare is not insurance, but calling it obamacare is an easy way of saying you got your insurance through the marketplace. In all honesty, this will be Obama's legacy. His name should be attached to it.
  12. http://www.nfl.com/videos/dallas-cowboys/0ap3000000449325/Infinite-DVR-1982-NFC-Championship-Game You're welcome
  13. Well, it's New York. What would you expect?
  14. Wow. You got me there. Thanks for pointing out this atrocious hypocrisy.
  15. Lol I'll be fine. I actually even c nudged a bit on my stance to what you're referring. I wasn't as right as i thought. Sorry I forgot selma. My intent wasn't to indicate that cities outside of the deep south have a monopoly on these things.
  16. yeah, me too. i hate the history of these racially charged incidents in brooklyn, baltimore, ferguson and other backwoods redneck places.
  17. If you want to protect the wood, clear coat is definitely a necessity. Go with a low a lower sheen clear coat.
  18. Once again i recant my negative statements about carmelos activism i made after the espys.. Good on him.
  19. Have you actually looked to see how much your Internet will go up? It's really not a whole lot usually, especially compared to the eliminated cost of cable.
  20. to hell with this storm. postponed a football game yesterday to saturday. from 2 pm on, forecast was calling for 80% or more chance of rain, with thunderstorms and 90% chance of rain right during game time. not twenty minutes after i made the decision to reschedule for saturday and contacted everyone, the forecast pushes the storm back 2 hours. as the day goes on, it continually pushes it back to the point where now, i'm going to get rained out on saturday.
