When people say Eli helped stagnate the Pats...You know who else helped stagnate the Pats? Joe Flacco. He defeated the Pats twice in the playoffs, and frankly should have done it a third time if Lee Evans doesn't drop a gimme TD in the closing seconds of the AFC title game (when Cundiff missed a chip shot to force the game into OT).
Flacco: 98-73, superbowl MVP (played great in that game), 218 Tds, 141 ints, 62% completion percentage.
Eli: 117-117, 2 superbowl MVPs, 366 tds, 244 ints, 60% completion %.
Oh, and Flacco played in a tougher conference and division (Steelers).
Is Flacco a HOF now because he helped "end" the Patriots dynasty?
