    My wife and I finished watching season 1 about a month ago. Only 1 season so far… season 2 coming out soon. We really enjoyed it… I’d recommend. Not a must see (highly recommend like a Ted Lasso) but a tier below.

    Are you saying that my belief that EB was/is the most qualified for the job and was hired based on that understanding… is an outlier? That EBs interview with RR was just ceremonial?

    Didn’t the Eagles lose 2 coordinators to HC positions - Eagles are relevant since they’re season finished at the same time as Chiefs - and they’d have to fill out an entire staff with - despite not having any previous HC experience? And why would RR interview a candidate for the OC position who didn’t have any potential candidates to fill out the staff on his side of the ball… which would only expedite the transition /learning curve. Seems very fishy.

    Promotions. That’s the other big benefit. Up-and-coming hot candidates ready to take their shot.

    You’d think… for EB who has been a HC candidate for going on 3 years… and has interviewed repeatedly.. that one of the criteria for any coaching candidate would be their ability to assemble a full coaching staff, preferably of quality candidates. If EB is the kind of coach that everyone on the Chiefs coaching staff was pounding the table for…. where are all these guys that would love to coach with him?

    And I’ll say something that is sacrilege here. The fact that Joe Gibbs has maintained a relationship with Dan… and has vouched for him repeatedly for potential hiring candidates…. has forever tainted my image/perspective of him. I no longer hold him with any reverence.

    I think it’s just an extension of what’s going on in the NBA. The star players are taking shorter contracts and leveraging themselves. If you’re in his position, there’s no harm in asking for what you want. That’s negotiating. And Rodgers wants players he thinks can't help him win in his twilight years. Green Bay has been neglecting building up his arsenal for years. Even using a first on Jordan Love. Now, will any NFL team capitulate? We’ll see. But if you want to go all in on AR,why not give him what he wants/needs?!?

    Yeah but guards run hot and cold. And they don’t have a consistent/reliable 2 option. Rotates each game. All it takes is for Jaquez to run cold and the team is finished. And the chances of him carrying the team on his shoulders against the countries best… I wouldn’t bet it. UCLA always schedules a heavy slate of small schools each year to build momentum. But it also gives a false sense of security.

    UCLA lacks their only big man who produces due to injury. Need a big man to win in the tourney. The Bruins are prime for an upset early.

    Understood. Although I didn’t perceive it as a spoiler… just answering how it may/could have been perceived as one. Maybe there’s another interpretation I missed too. 🙂

    That’s what makes it inadvertent. 😂 You asking for another episode with to explore Joel and Ellie suggests/implies there isn’t another one. As someone who knows nothing…. But even less so of this video game… I have no reason to believe that next season won’t kick off resuming Joel and Ellie’s journey towards the Fireflies. Im not upset though… I love spoilers. 🙂
