Final Update From Dallas

The 2nd half started with Moses being downgraded to out with an ankle injury as the Skins Offense managed to make it to mid field before stalling out. Oh & Dak came back throwing garbage to start their 3 & out drive. Dallas would go on to feature Alfred Morris on their next drive. Evidently since Dak couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn, they started to just hand it off. The Third Quarter ended just like the First one did. No one scored.

However the Fourth started with a Dak to Dez TD from their 15 yard line. This put the Skins down 24-7. With the recent Cousins comparisons to Brees, this was the time for him to turn it on & takeover the game. Cousins took the Offense 87 yards to the endzone on their next drive. This put them down 24-14. Dallas played ball/clock control on the following drive where the Skins Defense managed to get called for having12 men on the field. A few plays later & Dallas was in the end zone. Again. They went 75 yards & used up over 6 & a half minutes. Skin down 31-14 with 4:55 to go.

Down 17, the Redskins start to display a gripe I’ve had with them all season, no hurry up. Guys are taking their time getting to the line of scrimmage. Kirk ends up throwing the INT. And to add insult to injury they’re called for personal foul, half the distance to the goal. They punched it in to go up 38-14 which also ended Cousins night & gave the last few minutes to Colt McCoy to run the clock out.

The Redskins have now fallen to 5-7 & been swept by both the Eagles & the Cowboys this season.

So can we expect any offseason management/coaching changes to take place?  Most of our issues are injuries but some of it fall on management/coaching.  Thoughts?

There has only been 1 game where we dominated and that was Oakland.  Coaching / play selection cost us 4 games this year even with the injuries.  Year after year, its the same crap and excuses.  Need new coaches (Head coach, and Def. Coord.  Hire a new GM.  Trade Norman as he isn't worth his salary and can't back up his loudmouth trash talk. Give DJ more money from Norman's salary.  Good to see Alfred Morris ram it down our throats as Gruden et.al. didn't want to pay him 1.5 mil a year. Great choice signing and paying Pryor all that money and finally, I love the quote from T Williams after the game..."“Just because you may be mathematically eliminated from the playoffs doesn’t mean you can go out there and put trash on tape."

Well what have we been watching for most of the year. Went to my first Redskins game in 1961 and family had season tickets and this die-hard fan has had enough.  I hope the stadium empties out until we get a new coach and GM.  " I want the Redskins to be my pallbearers so they can let me down one last time"

My final wish is someone in the Redskins office print my previous message and post it in the Redskins locker room and make Gruden read it out loud to the team. But I realize that would never happen!

Thoughts? There’s 4 games left & you now focus on the Chargers.

You’ve got 2 guys on Offense that have played every game this season. Kirk Cousins & Vernon Davis.

You've got an OL that’s made up of practice squad players.

The fact that they managed to be competitive the 3 games prior, THAT also has to fall on coaching. But after an embarrassing loss, no one wants to see anything minutely positive about the coaching. It’s all torches & pitchforks due to time management.

If you really take a look at our team we are right there even with all the injuries that we have had this year. We have played the toughest schedule and were in every game but for a few mental mistakes we could be above .500 what I personally think we need is the following....

1) Sign Cousins. There isn't anyone else in the league worth picking up that has at least 6 good years left to play at the position.

2) Get another Good Fearless Corner (Sherman) to play opposite of Norman.

3) Get Cravens back next year to eventually take over for Hall

4) Open up the Playbook and stop being so predictable on Offense every game.

5) Keep the O-Line and Defense intact in the Off Season especially Brown, Kerrigan, and Swearinger

6) Give Reed one more shot to play a full season

7) Get another Big Wide Receiver opposite of Doctson then you have Crowder and Grant in the slot similar to New England.

8) Perine, Marshall, and Thompson should be our Running Backs.

Again we are right there Prime for a Good 4 to 5 year run of winning football we need a couple of missing pcs. I'm not a Gruden Fan at all so if we cut him loose we need someone that will not be afraid to throw a bomb on the opening play like a Sean Payton from New Orleans but if you really look at our Team we Fight and we are right there.

AAAhhhh, maybe ST coach?  Possibly our Trainer?  Possibly?  Also, due to injuries this team's season is OVER with.  We need to let the lame heal now and let the depth players play to gain experience, IF the NFL allow it.  We have a ton (like you mentioned) of players that are the walking lame.

My concern is the obvious lack of effort from our defense.  What happened to Breeland as he used to be a decent defender?   Moreau looked like he was playing a different game all together.  So many missed tackles and we couldn't even begin to control the line.  This team has the talent but not the proper coaching nor motivation to be successful.  I won't bother watching another game this year as it's absolutely disgusting to watch a bunch of millionaires play like it's a weekend flag pickup game.
