  1. I don't see where the team is going with the feather on the W, if it is something that the team sanctioned. The feather only makes sense with the old team name. Bringing back a the couple of feathers to pin on a Commanders logo feels like a dead end.
  2. It's still not their main logo, but the Patriots have managed to create the ugliest logo yet.
  3. Ever since Todd Collins, I've found 15 to be a respectable number. Something about Chiefs QBs seems to do #15 justice. I want to see a QB roll with #19. Nobody seems interested in having the last number option on the chart.
  4. The people talking about the last QB to wear number 5 are forgetting about one of our last training camp QB fan crushes: Pat White. 2013 was wild.
  5. Maybe. I guess I thought we had 5 other picks in the top 100, and one of them could be used for a player who could contribute to protecting the QB that's supposed to carry the team for the next decade. Or at least a free agent or two before the draft if a rookie OT was too much to ask. But on the plus side, if Daniels does get pummeled, at least the team can feel proud that they got a really good defensive tackle.
  6. Brandon Scherff was originally picked as a tackle too iirc. I won't be reading too deep into what position he's playing at until training camp. But the decision to roll with Wylie and the backup OT has me floored.
  7. We desperately need a TE who isn't half-dead, so I'll take it, but where all my O-Linemen at? Is this draft 3 and 4 rounds deep with them?
  8. I'm excited for this draft that's deep in offensive linemen. Are you excited? Because I am. Kid in a candy shop watching his mom buy sticks of gum.
  9. I know I shouldn't be disappointed. But I am extremely disappointed.
  10. Oddly enough, on a board with 100+ active members, it seems like not everyone holds the same opinion at the same time.
  11. I'm not happy. I'm getting RG3 flashbacks. But it isn't from a crippling trade, and it won't be with owner taking him out on bowling dates. Make me believe, Jayden.
  12. If whoever we picked uses his first interview to say that the team that picked before him done messed up, I'm on the phone with Goodell to see if draft picks come with warranties.
  13. Broncos uniforms look more like UVA uniforms. Oooh, nice, blue and orange Chargers lightning bolts on the shoulders. Looks like the Broncos took some inspiration from Washington using Dallas's stars.
  14. The article was written 2 days after Rex Grossman and Tim Hightower smoked the New York Giants at home to start the season. Me being the simpleton that I always have been, I was really excited. Not liking Snyder excited, but excited for Shanahan could will us into.
  15. For everyone of those interviews, I'm still waiting for someone to give an interview like this: "He's the worst. He isn't supportive, he goes against everything I want, and that's only when he picks up the phone. Most of the time he doesn't even do that. I'm going to draft the biggest bust in NFL history to stick it this dude, I regret even talking to him when he made the job offer."
  16. When I was at Walmart the other day, I heard an exasperated mother having a power struggle with her 4 year old who wanted Cocoa Puffs. The kid said "I want it", mom said "no", kid said "okay".
  17. I've been out of this thread for what feels like a month, but every few days I accidentally click on the thread, the page count has gone up by about 20. Has everyone settled on which QB is the second best in the draft and how JJ McCarthy managed to topple Caleb Williams out of his number 1 spot?
  18. My game playing has gone to a crawl. Most of my time I spend organizing or participating in racing leagues. A tiny sliver of time is spent on other games. Brothers in Arms makes me weep for what could have been. Skyrim is the same dungeons all over again, but I can make people love or hate me, so it keeps me a little bit invested. I want to try other games, but I don't feel like devoting the time to learning them or what I know will require a significant investment of time. Like Napoleon Total War, the game that all my friends were playing 5 years ago, but I never could grasp.
  19. I played Assassin's Creed 1, it killed the entire genre for me. At some point, it turned into getting mobbed by packs of 10 or so guards and running across rooftops, then go into a building, run around a little more, and kill someone so that I can talk to him for a bit. I tried to get into Black Flag. I just couldn't stick with it. It's mobs but with guns. I tried Shadow of Mordor because I love Lord of the Rings. I couldn't play it either. There's only so many buildings and walls to climb, so many haystacks to jump into, so many dying orcs and people to have full 5 minute conversations with, before it feels like I've been there, done that.
  20. It's crazy how different the music cultures are between America and Korea. Stars have to brake up or get destroyed publicly for their relationships, meanwhile in America fans are looking forward to finding out which of the four week flings a singer dated will get the official breakup album. Nobody is a legit singer until they have at least 3 breakup albums about specific relationships they've had.
  21. ESPN's UFL coverage had interesting priorities. Top priority was hearing the players and coaches chattering on the field. Then came the crowd. Commentators talking to the fans was last. Even when the commentators were the only people on the camera, their voices weren't any more audible than the stadium's announcer. Fox handled their audio fine. With how much effort they put into MNF and their monopoly on the NCAA, I was surprised how half-baked their coverage was.
  22. While that's true, what if he gets drafted by us, we don't appreciate his ability to get the ball to our playmakers enough, and we trade him? He'd probably be losing a lot of value anyway, but admitting that he wouldn't even try for the other teams could make it really hard to move him.
  23. That's cool that Jayden would do that for us, but I question his work ethic if he's only going to get the ball out to the playmakers for our team alone. If a different team drafts him, he should consider getting the ball to their playmakers instead.
