  1. That kid now that he's grown up:
  2. I'm not your pal, bra. That's how it's spelled, right?
  3. Drip. When someone says "he's got the drip", my first thought is that he has some sort of disgusting disease that I don't want to ask about. Another new one: Malding. That one was fairly short lived, but I still occasionally hear people use it.
  4. Every time I feel like chiming in, I remember that I'd be arguing with someone who campaigns for Chase harder than the 49ers own PR team is willing to.
  5. Yeah, I'm not ready to say the man can't coordinate anything either. Many NFL head coaches are coordinator who got promoted beyond their competence. The game might have passed Ron by in the 13 years since he last coordinated a defense, but I don't think it's a given.
  6. Pass. Tua is just a guy to me. A pretty good guy, but the same cream puff rep that the rest of the Dolphins have. A 2nd overall pick lets us shoot for someone better. Let one of the borderline teams being held back by a sucky QB overbid on him instead. I think it's impossible for the Dolphins to move on from him anyway. They made it to the playoffs, and they don't appear to be on the verge of falling off a cliff, so there's no other QB for them to go to that guarantees a greater upside than he has.
  7. Those are message emojis, not reaction emojis. I request a simple button to display my disgustipation. An unlike button, but with an accurate representation of how much I unlike it.
  8. "A second kick missed the uprights. Buffalo is under attack."
  9. When I think of a QB who is the literal definition of "willing a team into the game", it's Josh Allen. Mahomes is a great mind, but his games depend on his receivers to hold onto the ball. Lamar is a gifted runner, but he can't take physical punishment. Jalen Hurts is like a bowling ball, but his passing game isn't all there yet. Allen can throw one of the best deep balls in the game, and can tuck it and run into three defenders and force an extra 3 yards without even looking winded. I wish so much that he could just put it all together and have that perfect, career-crowning moment. And I worry that it will pass with nothing but lost playoff games.
  10. Diggs might complain a bit, but he doesn't have much room to. He had a rainbow in his hands and let it go. The Bills choke jobs aren't just from one player.
  11. Rivers had Chargeritis. He always made for good stats, never made for good playoffs. Which is where Josh Allen is right now.
  12. I'm happy that the Chiefs got here, but I can't help but feel heartbroken for the Bills. Josh Allen is such a fun QB to watch, but no matter how many dramatic plays he makes in the game, he always comes up short. Sometimes by his own hand, sometimes by others'.
  13. Everything about that last drive by the Bills was filled with "should have, could have, would have". Diggs should have caught the rainbow. Allen could have taken the checkdown. Bass would have done better to kick straight.
  14. The lighting on the field is weirding me out. Looks like one side is better lit than the other.
  15. The best part of this game is that I can tune out at any time, come back with 3 minutes to go, and know that there's still going to be at least 3 scoring drives left to the game.
  16. You don't understand, it hurts my feelings when someone sounds like he's enjoying his job and isn't sitting on his couch wearing a cardigan sweater and has a last name that starts with M.
  17. That's nice how all the bills and chiefs guys want to hug before halftime
  18. I wonder if the analytics departments ever account for the fact that good teams can do it, bad teams can't, and at 9-8 and clawing for life, you might not be a good team?
  19. Wait until she hears about Brock's brother, Chubba Purdy.
