Grumpy Vet
Besides Fed Ex? Secluded in the dark basement w/ a beverage and a couple dozen crabs watching the Skins game. Did that a couple times last year for away games.....Awesome. It goes w/o saying that the Tivo must be about 40 minutes ahead so I can FF thru commercials and end about the same time as the game actually does. Why? Last year...don't recall which game...I was a little loopy - I built up more of a cushion....I'm in the basement watching....about 5 minutes to go - very close game....wife comes down to do laundry and says, "I'm sorry they lost." I was mortified & pissed. New rule in effect now. No phone calls and no visitors to the basement when the away Skins games are on.

When I move south later this year I'll have to drop off my 27" tv/vcr combo for ya Grumpy!! Being in the basement with a 19" TV while your family is watching the new one upstairs should be the definition of beaten. Seriously though, the offer will stand until Oct 1st! Heidenreich
I go to the local watering hole in Dumont, NJ to catch the Skins every week. All you can eat food and $6 pitchers (the ones that aren't on the house!) When i'm too old to go to the bar & get plastered every weekend, then I'll get Direc TV & watch them at home. But i got years before that happens.....
