Besides Fed Ex? Secluded in the dark basement w/ a beverage and a couple dozen crabs watching the Skins game. Did that a couple times last year for away games.....Awesome.

It goes w/o saying that the Tivo must be about 40 minutes ahead so I can FF thru commercials and end about the same time as the game actually does. Why? Last year...don't recall which game...I was a little loopy - I built up more of a cushion....I'm in the basement watching....about 5 minutes to go - very close game....wife comes down to do laundry and says, "I'm sorry they lost."

I was mortified & pissed. New rule in effect now. No phone calls and no visitors to the basement when the away Skins games are on.

For me too, except it's a 57" Sony widescreen w/ surround sound!

Once in a while, I hit the HardRock Casino (The Joint) for a Washington MNF venue.

Free food, cheap beer, and many ladies with almost nothing on who dance during commercials and halftime!

Damn I gotta get a bigger TV... I thought 53" was BIG?? Guess not!

But that is where I will be with the DirectTivo, and new secondary satellite receiver for the PIP hookup!

When is this company (directv) gonna make somehting PIP compatible that doesn't make you jump through hoops!!!???

I live in Jersey right now so going out to sportsbars are usually full of Eagle or Giant fans  I have good health insurance but....

Gimme a break...when I'm in the basement - I'm watching on a 19" 12 year old Megatron.....hooked up to a Tivo.

Meanwhile, upstairs my wife and daughter are usually watching Sesame Street on the 36" Toshiba w/ Tivo.

Sad.....I know.....so don't feel too bad there Kevin - could be worse.

When I move south later this year I'll have to drop off my 27" tv/vcr combo for ya Grumpy!!

Being in the basement with a 19" TV while your family is watching the new one upstairs should be the definition of beaten.

Seriously though, the offer will stand until Oct 1st!

I go to the local watering hole in Dumont, NJ to catch the Skins every week.

All you can eat food and $6 pitchers (the ones that aren't on the house!)

When i'm too old to go to the bar & get plastered every weekend, then I'll get Direc TV & watch them at home. But i got years before that happens.....
