Leonard Washington
whateva...if he held himself out to look good in free agency, he gets a pass from me. the dude played with his heart practically coming out his chest. he played the run tough last season with a badly sprained shoulder. when it counted he was there for us. Warhead36
This guy put his body on the line for four years with us. If he wanted to take one break to ensure a big pay day, I don't mind. Seriously. Don't let this blindly judge you. Smoot was damn good for us and played hurt. If the man wants to ensure the security of his finances for his family, I don't blahme him. But with that I don't believe this story.

AzSkinsFan63
Art, that's the stuff that turns a team around.. a statement to the players. Even the new players that come in hear those stories from the vets. what did Pierce do? Just kidding..LOL
Hooper
Say what you want about Smooty or especially LC, but they played with as much heart and toughness as anyone on the roster last year. Them leaving doesn't change that.

He was under contract. Hes a football player. If he was physically cleared to play then he should have been on the field. I'm not a Smoot basher now that we lost him, I love the guy and he's still one of my favorite NFL players, but I get sick of people always thinking about themselves and the money. Its not like he wouldn't have still been making 7 figures if he'd gotten burned twice. Give me a break.
fansince62
and if Smoot had been seriously injured for the team - the team was prepared to do what?
