Lets face it guys...the rivalry really isn't the same anymore, since George Allen and Tom Landry moved on. I actually like Jerry Jones, and for a Redskins fan that used to be blasphemy.

And as I recall, Jerry Jones made a trade with the Redskins years back, which allowed us to move up in the draft. That was unheard of in the old days of George Allen. And Jerry Jones and Danny Boy get together regularly as friends now. So its not the same rivalry

I think I'll pick on that Tom guy [Giants fan] from now on. Remember Tom when we were leading the Giants in 1966 by a score of 69 to 41, and we called a timeout in the last minute of the game, so we could kick a field goal and win 72 to 41? The highest scoring game in NFL history.

Now those were the days when we had real rivalries.

Don't you all realize...Glover is THE man!
Remember what he did last time Washington faced him!?
That had to be one of our worst games last year.
I mean come on now, Davis only had a 5.3 ypc average! What kind of crap is that!
And on top of that he only rushed for 111 yards in 3 quarters! My grandma can do better than that!
I can't believe we only had 4 rushing touchdowns, and 40 points in that game. Pathetic.

I have just one question. Do you think on hindsight Jerry Jones would take back those picks that went for Shaun Alexander and Koren Robinson and return Joey Galloway to the Seahawks?

Wasn't this supposed to be the year the Cowboys are out of cap hell and had all those millions of dollars to spend?

All Jerry Jones has to show for it is LaRoi Glover? I forgot they also overpaid for that longsnapper from the Rams and a rookie backup QB who's been out of football for a couple years.

Great offseason.

The only reason Jerry made that trade is because Troy Aikman lacked a threat at the WRs position when Irvin went down. Jerry was trying to maximize Troy's abilities, but Jerry could not predict that injuries would cut short Troy's career. If Jerry had any idea Troy would not be effective due to injuries he would never had mortgaged the future.

Q, I am a realist. The skins will split with the boys and the eagles next year. I just want to ask you one question. When the boys come to fed-ex for the last game of the year. Do you really think your team will have anything to play for? The skins will be playing for a wildcard or maybe even the division title on the line. The cowboys will be lucky to be playing for a 500. season. That is the cold hard truth. Deal with it.

I suppose that that was the reason why you guys traded away two #1's for Galloway a couple of years ago, right? The fact is that Jerruh has been deluded up until that popping sound in Galloway's knee in week 1 in 2000 that he could make one last Super Bowl run with Aikman and Smith. Don't you even know your own team?

Oh, and if you were rebuilding during that time, we see that five years later you're still . . . rebuilding? Again, nice try, Chief.

On defense they have an aging defensive line. They struggled in the second half of the season the past 2 seasons.
A realist would not make such a statement when they know they have no Special team threats.
A realist would not make such a statement knowing his team has not made any upgrades at any positions on the team, all they have done is plug in holes via free agency. The Redskins have taken a step back this offseason.
A realist would know that the chance of the Cowboys making the playoffs is just as good as the Redskins. Remember Patriots where 5-11 in 2000 as were the Ravens where 8-8 in 1999, so dismissing the Cowboys is very UNREALISTIC!!!!
