Ancalagon the Black
Look at the picture below. Can you tell if squares A and B have anything in common (other than that they're the same shape and both have letters of the alphabet on them)? Something, in particular, that is quite surprising? skinamatic
Uh their both close to a big green thing. They are both part of a checkerboard.
Ancalagon the Black
Both true. Neither particularly surprising. They are also both on your computer monitor. I'll edit my question.
Skeletor The Invincible
So, Mr. Black, get to the point.

Skeletor The Invincible
It did take me awhile, I'll give you that. I was dumbfounded until I thought of why that big ass green thing would matter.

skinsarethebest
what? are you guys on crack? they aren't the same color!
Ancalagon the Black
Shockingly, they are exactly the same color and shade. You can verify this by making your hand into a tube and peering at B through your hand (so you can't see the surrounding squares) and then looking at A in the same way immediately afterwards. Alternatively, use a paint program to cut out B and move it up next to A. It's amazing. Optical illusions are neat, eh?
skinsarethebest
ancalgon, they still aren't the same color!!!!! i am trying to look at it through the tube hand and it's definitely not the same!

codeorama
All you have to do to prove it is open the pic in photoshop and use the eyedropper tool to take a sample, that will prove it.
codeorama
I just did it... It is exactly the same color. Photoshop confirms it....

Thiebear
My eyes are broken, One is slightly darker than the other no matter how my 20/20 eyes peek at them...
cowboykilla
The way I did it was just put my fingers up on my monitor to block the squares in between the two, and as much as I could around the A and B, and you can see quite clearly they are the same color. Cool ATB.
Destino
Save the picture and cut the squares out using photoshop or (pfft) ms paint. Compare them once removing them from the image and you'll see they are in fact the same color. Or for you anti-techies, print them and graba pair of scissors.
