Renegade7
I've been on the "Taylor Bandwagon" since the start of it all. The reason i wanted Taylor is because I didn't want to be stuck with the safeties we have right now. I honestly felt that if this team WAS goin to be run-based, we wouldn't neccessarily need a premire PASS CATCHING TE. I actually believed that Chamberlin could some how get underweight and be the pro-bowl threat catching he used to be. But as of late, things have changed. Bobby Taylor is coming to town. John Lynch has been cut. Both are past their prime but no doubt excellent at what they do. Lynch hits people, Taylor covers people. Simple as that, right. So, here's the plan. Call me a traitor all you want, i've seen the light. Actually i had been seen it, just didn't want to admit it. "Why not trade next years first rounder and a player for the Lions pick and draft them both?" I look back at it now and notice how much i've grown. Its scary. Move Bobby Taylor to FS, sign Lynch. Everyones happy. Safeties cover and kill. Nothing wrong with that. Sign Holmes and the D is set. Happy days ahead. Now for KW2. He's father played for Gibbs. His father is friends with Gibbs. His father was a monster under Gibbs. But KW isn't KW2. Still, KW2 is a hell of a TE. His former teamate, Shockey, is on record for saying that KW2 was better then him. I'll find the link later, i have to leave soon. So with the safeties set, our defense set, why not just finish the makeover and make our offense unstopable. That's the arugement, that's the truth. Can't hide it. Portis, Bugel's O-line, Brunell, Coles, Gardener, and KW2. If you think the Rams we good, wait till this season starts. Baring any injury, this offense will be unstoppable. So there you have it. I've switched sides based on logic. I rest my case. Debat, vote, watch Wayne Brady, do what you want. I'll be back to check the responses later. Soonerz
Well, it is a slow newsday outside of the T.O. non-ruling, the Boston trade wrapping up with Fletcher as the man to be named, Gash going to the 'Aints, and Vincent to the Bills.
RedskinsMarchingBand
Trade for Dolphins RFA DE that had 16.5 sacks maybe trade our first rounder for another, and a 2nd, then use the first we traded to pick that guy up???

qb18_200400
too bad spurrier was an ass. we could've got mike doss and then we wouldn't have anything to argue about! But nooo, now we are stuck with injury prone/gator taylor jacobs. He may not be that bad, but we didn't need him.

Zen-like Todd
Just a little something to get the Taylor camp riled up.. from gbnreport.com Browns try to move up for Gallery...And right on cue following yesterday's lament on the dearth of trade rumors surrounding this year's draft, The Sporting News is reporting that Cleveland would like to put together a package of players and picks to move up and select Iowa OT Robert Gallery. The Browns are said to be offering QB Tim Couch and WR Dennis Northcutt, along with the 7th pick to move up. Any trade isn't likely to happen before draft day, though. Getting another to take Couch as part of the deal, however, would require Couch to agree to a major contract restructuring beforehand. The same report also suggests that Miami FS Sean Taylor could be slipping just a little on draft boards around the NFL. According to several scouts who have studied film of Taylor, he misses too many tackles, takes hits instead of delivering them and doesn't play anywhere near as big as he should. It probably also didn't help Taylor that he ran in the 4.50 range at the Hurricanes' pro day, rather than the advertised 4.35 clocking.

dahogs
Here's what the Sporting News.com has to say about Sean Taylor... ---------------------- TAYLOR SLIPPING Safety Sean Taylor's stock is dropping, according to NFL coaches who watched him workout recently on campus at Miami (Fla.). The coaches also have studied film of Taylor and say he misses too many tackles, takes hits instead of delivering them and doesn't play anywhere near as big as he should. ---------------------- WE ARE NOT TAKING SEAN TAYLOR...PERIOD. If we keep the pick, we're taking KWII.
NavyDave
Taylor B Taylor was looking like a finesse corner last year aka slimetime like in his tackling so how is he going to be a hardhitting FS? And lynch has a neck injury that can lead to retirement Doss was part of the Indy Efense (no D) hat was spanked in the playoffs who has potential.
