CRobi21
Wish you could challenge pickoff moves. Tehran still balks every time.
Riggo#44
Yep. Albies one-arms a home run. That turns into a double play.

CRobi21
Great changeup to get Albies to fly out! Of course that liner hangs up... No LHPs in the bullpen... Edited September 8, 2019 by CRobi21
Riggo#44
Bases loaded 0 outs. Strike out, double play? Well I got 1 right. That was killer
TheGoodBits
Absolutely cannot catch a break against this team.
CRobi21
Really wish this team could hit bloopers into the bermuda triangles like they did game 1. These line drives just aren't working.

CRobi21
Robots... How can you eject baby face Trea? What could he have possibly said to warrant an ejection. Pansy

Riggo#44
Coulda, woulda, should won at least one other. Have to win 5 of the next 9 to stave off Cubs and Dbacks. And they are both going to lose today. Big day!

Riggo#44
We might be catching the Twins at an opportune time: https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2019/09/twins-max-kepler-to-undergo-mri-on-monday.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+MlbTradeRumors+(MLB+Trade+Rumors)
TheGoodBits
My Twins fan buddy pointed out that we’ll likely miss Nelson Cruz, and their three starters have about a 5.50 era since the ASB. So we’ll see. Unrelated: saw Tres Barrera was called up. I went to a PNats game @ Lynchburg Hillcats last year and took advantage of the fact I was one of about 6 fans there to get a couple signatures on a mini bat. Barrera was one of them. Luis Garcia as well.
Riggo#44
Sano will likely play (guessing), but Buxton, Gonzalez, and Kapler don't figure to play.
Riggo#44
Nats Magic number is 16 to clinch a playoff spot. If the Nats go 11-9: D-backs/Phillies/Brewers have to go 15-4. It's time. Edited September 9, 2019 by Riggo#44
Riggo#44
We now know how those Giants did so well. Clearly there is some sorcery involved.
Riggo#44
Ok. Imma need y'all to sit down for this. Deep breath. Maybe get something to drink. Another deep breath. Ok. Ready? Chris Russo says Max Scherzer comes out of games to easily: https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/nationals/max-scherzer-too-quick-come-out-games-according-one-mlb-network-host Quote “Scherzer’s problem is he doesn’t stay in the ballgame. He’s out of there after six, six and a third,” Russo complained. “He has to sit there and say ‘Nobody’s coming to the mound. Give me the ball Dave Martinez I’ll see you in the 9th inning…I don’t care if it’s 150 pitches, I’m pitching this.’ He has not done that.” Edited September 10, 2019 by Riggo#44
