codeorama
If you were the owner of the Redskins, who would you cut for spite? Forget about cap implications, lost compensation etc... This is a totally fantasy thread. Who would you enjoy calling into your office and telling them that they are going to sit out the remaining 3 games and then released at the end of the season. Bruce doesn't count... He's gone after the season anyway. Just curious.
codeorama
OOps... I forgot my choice... I would LOVE to call Jansen in the office and break the bad news to him... That would be awsome.
ktball74
Why Jansen?

JMac
Jon Jansen. After reading his articles in the WT he needs to be slapped upside the head. He may dance around saying he did not call out the coach but he did and it was obvious to everyone. His "see I told you so" about the running game this weekend in NY just shows his ignorance. You dont think the weather made you run 48 times for a 3yard average?
uncle red
same here, code. After reading his column this morning I'd cut Jansen's ass in a heartbeat. Shut the hell up about how the offense should be run and do your damn job (blocking the man in front of you). Second choice would be Champ Bailey, for whining about the organization, not taking responsibility for losing, and generally acting like a spoiled little girl. skinsfan44
I would hire a GM, and let the GM and Spurrier deside who stays and who goes.
KDawg
BEAUTIFUL answer skinsfan44. We have too many people who think they can run things better than Snyder/Cerrato... Cutting Jansen would be idiotic. He is a solid tackle, he did NOT get dominated by Strahan, despite what some people think. And why shouldn't he be allowed to say what he wants? He didn't necessarily take jabs at Spurrier, he just said some things about how he feels. Big deal, all of us do it on this board all the time. Jansen is a key to this team, like it or not. DieselPwr44
Trotter...... Umm, Jeremiah..ol buddy ol pal , you're gone. BTW when you leave don't run past the exit. Make sure you hit the door and not over-run it like you do plays on the field. Champ, here's a stick and a bag of marshmallows. Next time your burnt, how bout making some smores for the team? Symbol
Me: How are you Coach Spurrier? Spurrier: Not to dad blum bad, sir. Me: Good. Well, I have a gift for you, it's a check for $15 million. Spurrier: That's a lot of money for me to put in my mayonase jar, Mr. Symbol, I can't take that. Me: Well, actually you have to, it's the remainder of your contract. Clean out your desk and say your goodbyes, your fired! :on intercom: Security, escort Mr. Spurrier off the premises.

Larry Brown #43
Darrell Russell...he's done nothing since he got here, and he's going to want wads of cash next year. I'd also send Bruce Smith, Mike Stock and Kim Helton packing, and I'd give some thought to letting George Edwards go. But it might be the fair thing to do to give Edwards a shot to run the defense with a legit defensive line next year.

@DCGoldPants
Atlanta Skins Fan......actually we'd be trading him in a package deal. ASF/Kim Helton/Mike Stock/Cliff Russell/David Terrell to Pittsburgh for Russ Grimm and Randel El to be WR/KR/3rd QB.
