KDawg
Quick Hits Pre-Game With Darby out, the Eagles are working with deep depth at CB. Kendricks is out as well, and he always tends to have huge games against us. For the Skins, Norman and Everette are out but no real surprises. CB Depth will be tested. Nick Rose's debut is definitely a topic of interest. Akers is getting inducted into their hall of fame tonight. If Rose doesn't deliver, can he sign a contract and suit up for us tonight? The Skins have all four backs active. Hopefully they intend on utilizing all of them. Interested to to see if Reed/Crowder/Doctson show up tonight. NoCalMike
I've got a feeling we will see the 'Skins attempt a different style of offense tonight, either from the get-go or after a couple of drives. Hope they score early & often. Quiet down the Philly die-hards! HTTR!

If they can hit one it opens a whole new dimension to the offense.

KDawg
Interesting note: No Pryor on first drive.
zoony
Ryan grant singlehandedly killed that drive. Could have got the first down but, for some reason, stoppe so the defense could regain their feet
NoCalMike
Well that first drive said a lot about the 'Skins ability to attack the Eagles secondary. Disappointing they couldn't finish the drive for a TD though. This offense tends to start and then stall out for a quarter or two. Need as many early points as possible. Looks like Swearinger is spying Smallwood. keep an eye on that.
NoCalMike
Does everyone know the game thread is in here? It seems kind of light.

This is more in depth discussion and the main thread will remain open and used for reaction/overreaction. I personally like it this way so far. Allows for all types of discussion during the game. NoCalMike
That all out blitz is exactly what I am talking about. Everyone knew it was coming, yet the 'Skins call a play that seemed like it was long developing. You can't do that against that sort of blitz. TradeTheBeal!
More than willing to bring in some punters this week.
KDawg
So far there has been nothing but man coverage for the Redskin defense and they haven't played two high safeties more than once.
NoCalMike
Ok can we pull the fan-coach flag here and say no more punt returns for Crowder? Get focused on contributing to the offense. Can't afford a turnover like that. Somehow they recovered it, but now behind the 8-ball on the seven yard line. Ugh.
TradeTheBeal!
You gotta pull Crowder. 3 fumbles in 6 games is the end for any punt returner. I don't care if you're Brian Mitchell.

NoCalMike
Jay Gruden is all over the place today. He is calling creative plays getting guys open, fooling the Eagles. Then on 3rd & 2 he calls a slow developing play. Come on coaches......COME ON!

NoCalMike
Jon Gruden on the telecast basically says he sees Offensive PI but glad it isn't called.....umm why? If you didn't think it was a penalty why bring it up. If you did think it was a penalty why would you be glad it wasn't called?
NoCalMike
Love Swearinger's attitude and enthusiasm, but dude has gotta check himself on how long he celebrates after plays, especially when the opponent is facemask to facemask. This game is being played so close right now an unsportsmanlike flag could be a killer.
