This extension won't keep him out of the NFL if he wants it and the NFL wants him. It will keep him away from Texas, USC, etc though, which was the point of the extension IMO. Though one difference is Baylor (as a private university) doesn't have to disclosure the terms of the contract extension, so maybe they are paying him such a ridiculous amount with such a huge buyout that he has no desire to go test the waters of the NFL nor any teams go after him.
