MarkB452
Sookie was lost around mile marker 146.5 on I95 South Saturday evening. Volunteers have been working with a scent tracker dog to help find Sookie. She was tracked to the Bumgarder Shopping Center at 3255 Jeff Davis Hwy in Stafford where her scent was lost. There have been reports that on Sunday a man in a black toyota suv with Massachusetts tags and white oval dog stickers picked her up at the Bumgarder Shopping Center. Leonard Washington
Dogs get lost all the time. Why all the media coverage?
d0ublestr0ker0ll
I knew a guy who used to pick up loose dogs and keep them for himself. Really wish i was allowed to royally kick his ass.

Riggo-toni
My sincerest sympathies. I lost one of my guys a couple years back when a dopehead friend of mine left the door open while I was at work.
MarkB452
UPDATE: We did have 3 sightings called in. All were on the same road (Widewater Rd, Stafford VA) within a few miles of each other, and all the sightings were Sat, 8/10. It seems that someone picked her up last Sunday but either let her loose or lost her. So we believe she is running free again. We searched and canvassed the area with flyers; hope to get the tracker dog back to see if we can get a better handle on her general location to set traps. The Stafford SPCA has been wonderful in offering us the use of multiple traps. James River Greyhounds also loaned us one as well. We remain hopeful https://www.facebook.com/sookieismissing?directed_target_id=
MarkB452
8/28 - noon update: We just had a call from a construction worker who saw Sookie this morning in the same area where we've had sightings before but she ducked into the tall grass when she noticed him. She's heading toward the Acquia Harbor gated community. Oddly enough, if you google "Sookie missing greyhound" this thread comes up first. I guess ES rules everything!! https://www.facebook.com/sookieismissing?directed_target_id=
HSW
I hope they find the dog but must admit it is interesting how this story is getting more press than most missing person cases.
Corcaigh
I hope they find the dog but must admit it is interesting how this story is getting more press than most missing person cases. And for a black greyhound too.
