skinfan2k
one thing i do get mad when i watch major tournaments. When guys like Tiger, Rory and Phil are not playing well, why is there a big gallery following them? You paid nearly $100 dollars for a single day ticket and you want to watch terrible golf? why not follow the guys near the top of the leaderboard? Bubble Screen
A lot of those fans, it could be their first time at a golf tournament. If that's the case, then it's understandable why they would want to follow their favorite, no matter how bad he's playing. What gets me, is when people shout "get in the hole" when a guy is teeing off on a 400+ hole. I seriously think idiots line that should be escorted out and told to never step foot on the property again.

skinfan2k
I mean I would watch Tiger and those guys for a hole or two but the gallery continues to follow them. Makes no sense!

Makes no sense!Me personally, I would probably follow Adam Scott around. Guy has the greatest form I have ever seen. His form on the tee is textbook.Kuchar is my favorite golfer, probably. I've always liked him, so I would follow him as well.

GoSkins561
Duffner and Furyk battling it out. For someone who seems very cool, calm and collect, Duffners waggle is crazy, what in the hell is he doing?
FanboyOf91
Only two more holes until Dufnering becomes legendary.
skinfan2k
that's huge. 2 shots on 1 hole is far easier than 3. Furyk can play for birdie while Duf has to at least bogey this hole.

JamesMadisonSkins
Hey ES Golfers ... I'm in need of some advice on a putter acquisition. My buddy has a couple Odyssey putters he doesn't use and I want to get one of them. I'm just torn on which one to go with: 1) Odyssey XDF Two-Ball Putter ... heavily used, as it was his primary putter for a while. Grip is a little worn and smooth, but the club feels great and natural in practice putts. The lengthy is 35" and seems about right. Priced at $40 ... brand new in 2003 (which I think is what I found online is when it was produced, the club sold for $175) https://valueguide.pga.com/detail-exec/brand/2727/product_type/206/model/45264/b/Odyssey/p/Putter/m/DFX%202-Ball 2) Odyssey White Hot XG Hawk Putter ... won in a tournament and only used twice. It has a much softer/newer grip but is 1" shorter. Feels just fine to putt and is much newer, obviously. Comes with head cover. $50 ... brand new (which this essentially is) the putter is $130 http://www.odysseygolf.com/putters-2013-white-hot-pro-7/putters-2013-white-hot-pro-7,en_US,pd.html I can't decide. Does a putter's age/use have an impact? I think the 2-ball feels the most natural but it's very close. The 1" difference in shaft length makes the Hawk a little less "natural" as I have to bend over a little more (which might be better, honestly) or have half my second hand come off the if standing straight. Anyone have either of these that can speak to which would be better? I don't really think I could go wrong. I think I'm leaning 2-ball, but since it's much more used I'm wondering if spending $10 more for the brand new club is a better option?
Kilmer17
I think th e2 ball would be the better choice. You can get it regripped. But this comes from a guy who changes putters, grips, stances etc as often as I change my socks. My money would be better spent on more lessons. You're the 4th out of 4 people I've heard back from that have said to go with the 2ball over the new sleek putter. In the end, either one is a major upgrade over the stock Maxfli that my dad donated to me when he got a new set in a tourny a few years back.
