G.A.C.O.L.B.
Some of you are just ****ing stupid. If you hate Obama so much you can't celebrate the end of Gaddafi's rule, you're a ****ing idiot. Period. If you can't see the difference between a no-fly zone and NATO airstrikes over Libya--help the residents of Libya were asking for--and almost-unilaterally invading Iraq, you're a moron. This is starting to remind me of the thread after bin Laden was killed. It was so hard for people to give Obama any credit on it. It's ****ing pathetic. twa
Is the credit due a measure of his liability if Libya goes south? if a plane is shot down with the missiles liberated or more terrorists created does he accumulate blame? just checking the ground rules

"Yes. Yes. Absolutely," Romney responded. The praise for the president goes further than Romney's reaction to the Libya situation at an earlier campaign stop in Sioux City, Iowa. There, Romney did not talk about the U.S. role in Gadhafi's demise, instead only saying: "I think it's about time Gadhafi, a terrible tyrant that killed his own people and murdered Americans and others in the tragedy in Lockerbie." Romney added, "The world is a better place with Gadhafi gone."
hokie4redskins
Giggle. Alex Jones dupe spotted. Giggle, somebody believes we were there to provide humanitarian relief via aerial bombardment. Giggle. Not too familiar with Alex Jones, but apparently he's much more in tune with reality than you. G.A.C.O.L.B.
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2011/10/20/romney-gives-obama-some-credit-for-gadhafi-death/ Funny... "Muammer Qaddafi, the dictator of Libya, declared that 'we'd be content and happy if Obama can stay president forever.' Such lavish praise...tells you much of what [Obama's] approach to foreign policy is and the audience to which he is playing," http://thinkprogress.org/security/2011/10/20/349140/flashback-in-his-book-romney-attacked-obamas-foreign-policy-for-appeasing-qaddafi/ At least he's able to give credit though. BTW, yes Gaddafi was about to slaughter his people. He had them surrounded and was about to move in to wipe them out when we stepped in. Many thought we were too late then. And actually, I was against stepping in. I didn't think it would work out and wasn't sure what the benefit was. I was wrong.
