You know, I get the feeling that not every idea that has some sort of connection, no matter how flimsy, to the acknowledgement that there are different economic classes within any society, has something to do with a particular political label. No time to elaborate on that one. I've gotta get back to following what happens with the players who aren't showing up to training camp over the next couple of days because they're holding out. Fines are not levied based on how much money you make in any situation i can think of. If you overdraft your bank account, it's a $25 charge no matter how much you make. If you are late on a library book, it's $.10 a day no matter how much you make. If you forget to return the midget porn dvd to the video store it's $5 no matter how much you make. There are countries that do this because a fine of a hundred dollars does not really effect a person making six figures and they are more likely to just laugh and pay the fine where as iif there is some pain they will think before acting in the future.
