tr1
Wait, wait....Kolb! :rotflmao: Philadelphia’s main goal was to get a touchdown out of its starters. In the preseason opener against Jacksonville, quarterback Kevin Kolb(notes) led the Eagles down the field on two possessions, but they had to settle for field goals.Same thing again in Cincinnati. Six possessions, two field goals. The Eagles kept their starting offense on the field for the entire first half and got less-than-desired results. Kolb was 11 of 17 for 126 yards, most of them in two drives at the end of the half when the Bengals began substituting. The most glaring disappointment: Philadelphia failed to score against a defense full of reserves after driving to a first-and-goal at the 7-yard line. “We’ve got to be better than that,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said. “You can’t have the penalties in the red zone that we did.” Kolb was disappointed at the lack of a touchdown. “It’s the same story,” he said. “We need to do better.” http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/recap;_ylt=AnY6lrN.5PGTAabFRQ6PFcgdsLYF?gid=20100820004

braindx
OH NOOEES!There is no doubt that the Eagles will have a terrible offense based on this game! Good work TR1! Classic deflection from your horrid o-line. Trust us. We know how it feels to have a terrible o-line.
Kindred
I would say that kolb did pretty good given the piss poor protection that he had. Their crappy o-line carries over from last years **** show against the cowboys. Andrews must be borderline psychotic if they let him go for what they currently have. HapHaszard
OH NOOEES!There is no doubt that the Eagles will have a terrible offense based on this game! Good work TR1! TR1 just posted the article, the conclusion after 2 preseason games is the same as the cowboys o'line, needs work. He does love to point out minor details like that though. :ols:
Destino
Kolb is 17/28 (60%) 221 yards this preseason 0TD 0Int. Not great not terrible.
Oldskool
Kolb is 17/28 (60%) 221 yards this preseason 0TD 0Int.Not great not terrible. Since Kolb doesn't have McNabb's arm strength but better mid range accuracy, they are going with more of a traditional WCO scheme and the 13 ypc is a telltale sign. ExoDus84
Kolb is 17/28 (60%) 221 yards this preseason 0TD 0Int.Not great not terrible. Blasphemy. He's the genetically perfected result of blending DNA from Marino, Manning, Favre, Montana, and Young. He's the second coming.

Not sure why that would be a telltale sign since it is about 1.3 yards more than DMAC's career average and DMAC had a better YPC than 13 only twice (one of those being the year he only played 5 games. heytred
Kolb is going to be good. I've actually heard some Eagles fans complaining already... saying Kolb is going to be too much like McNabb... in a bad way. If Kolb has half the career in Philly that McNabb did, I'd consider it a success, but that's not going to happen.
