My Dad - A Redskins fan til the end

Woofer as I said to you before, if weren't for our dads, I don't think a lot of us would be fans. So sorry for your loss. We'll go dim again for another 24 hours on the board.

So true TK...

My Dad is a die hard Cowboy fan and we cant even watch football in the same room. But I have a profound sense of loyalty to the Redskins because I grew up watching his unwavering support of the cowboys during their bad years in the 80's. He is the only reason I somewhat can respect the cowboys because for every 30 band wagon fans they have there are still some die hards who simply value the integrity of being a true fan.

Woofer, may your parents rest from their labors together in Heaven. And pops can have a one on one with Slinging Sammy.

My condolences on your Dad.

May he R.I.P.

B.t.w...how old was he?

"I thank him for all that he taught me, even though he didn't try to teach me...it just happened."

That's the best kind of teaching. He did a Great job!

Both of my parents are gone too.My mother was a HUGE Redskins fan!We watched the last Superbowl together when they played the Bills.

My prayers go out to you!

HTTR!

I'm sorry for your loss.

My Dad passed away last year and it was very tuff on me and still is.

Like your my dad was a huge Redskin fan.

He watched every game.

He also had a nice ritual where he would hang a Redskin flag on game days.

It would stay up till the next day if they won,

And at half-mast if they lost.
