Woofer
My father passed away last night, after a long battle with Lymphoma, and then intestinal necrosis. My father was an unusual man. Almost always unflappable, and took everything in stride. Except the Redskins. He hung on every play, he waited anxiously for ANY news coming out of Redskins park, and was always on the phone to share the news with me. He got more upset about a Redskins loss than he did about almost anything else. One of the last things I talked to him about was the Redskins. Thanks to my dad for the wonderful childhood I had. I thank him for all that he taught me, even though he didn't try to teach me...it just happened. Both of my parents are gone now. I get some comfort hoping that they're together again. NewCliche21
I am so sorry for your loss, but I am so happy for you that you have a father with whom you had such a great relationship. If there are any storms this season, then every time that the thunder claps after a big Redskins play, be sure that that is your dad.

VaK9Trainer
Sorry for your loss. My dad is a huge Redskin fan and brought me up to bleed burgundy and gold and i am so thankful of the times that we have shared together and hopefully the times still to come. Remember those good times and know that everyone on this board shares your loss as we are all part of the Redskin family.
