I guess we just don't have the same taste in film.
Burgold
Avatar-- I have a problem with this one. The acting was mediocre and the plotting/script okay. There were no surprises in it if you are a SF fan. It was a landmark technologically and cool as hell, but not five star. Ghostbusters-- nah, although it is a very fun flick Happy Gilmore-- nah, it's a good popcorn movie, but not a great film. Superbad-- It might be age. I really didn't get this movie or even find it funny. For the others, some I strongly agree with, some I don't but can understand why someone else might put them there and some I haven't seen. Overall, pretty good list. Missing a lot of "Classics" so many black and white greats missing or films made before 1970 that ought to hit your radar.

All I can say is I agree Avatar didnt have superb acting or like a gut wrenching moment but the special effects were amazing and flawless. The story was really good and for a Sci Fi Fantasy flick you dont get really any better. Happy Gilmore is a 5 star popcorn film. Funny, great music (Tuesdays gone), Bob Barker kicking ass, Shooter Mcgavin, hot Mom from Modern family and Chubbs. Cant ask for much more, also made golf fun. Destino
You need more Guy Ritchie. Add Snatch and maybe Lock Stock or RocknRolla. You need some business/motivation. Boiler Room or Wallstreet and Office Space You need some classic cheesy guy films. Conan the Barbarian. Rambo. Commando.

the_bear_jew
I think one of the most underrated movies ever was Seven which is on your list. The movie had everything and one of the most surprise endings ever done. I sat in my chair with my mouth wide open while the credits rolled...... thebluefood
Also, your list is missing some tremendous films. I don't know it's because you haven't seen them yet or because you didn't like them. I could make a whole 'nother list of them, but I wouldn't want to hijack the thread.
